We recently stayed here while visiting for our daughters Air Force BMT graduation and it was a great choice. The room was very spacious & comfortable. The 2 air conditioners kept our suite nice & cold which was a plus since we were visiting from AZ and the TX humidity was no joke. We were easily in walking distance of the Alamo & the Riverwalk which we enjoyed going to a few times. The free breakfast was very good and we appreciated that some of the simple items were available for us to grab & go since we were headed to the AF base very early in the mornings. And the Texas shaped waffles were cute! The only downside we encountered was that 2 of the elevators were closed down on our last day there which made for a very long wait at breakfast time & check out time and having to pay an additional $32/night for parking when you're already paying a lot to stay at the hotel seemed a little extreme. I understand if there's a charge for non-customers but maybe 1/2 the rate for guests or include it into the room rate so it doesn't seem so much.

Loved my five day stay save for witnessing a shooting not far from the Alamo. Certainly that’s nothing within La Quinta’s control but scary nonetheless

The room was not clean. The bathroom had dog food and hair. I told them at the desk and they cleaned it up but for the rate the rooms should be clean. Glad no one in our party had allergies to dogs.
