It is an old building that has been uniquely remodeled inside. It was very clean & always smelled fresh. Parking was very close & easy to get to. Staff was always very friendly & good to help out!

Employees were very nice. The whole vibe of the place was odd, very random decorations. On the 3rd floor, there is a lobby that was used as the housekeepers storage area during the day with chemicals left out and unsupervised. The rooms are obviously old. The shower under the slip mat was not cleaned.

The reason I booked hotel is room safety, However it wasn't true. I specially requested no housekeeping for privacy, they still came in my room, changed towers but no cleaned the bed. I also stolen stuff from my bag. Additionally room smell like old and moldy, bed sheet is also damp.

Checking in was a bit longer than expected. Room was as cold and fresh to stay in and the balcony wasn’t the view I was quite expecting but still managed to make it worth our while! Definitely would recommend!

O’Brian historic hotel was very conveniently located for all the main attractions such as The Alamo and the River walk. It has old world charm and the rooms were comfortable and clean, just what you wants from a hotel for a night.

A Great Choice
This was a return trip to the O'Brien and we were not disappointed. The hotel still has its charm and the staff are all very friendly. We were delighted at the upgrades in the bathroom, the hotel had updated the bathroom with new tile and fixtures. The beauty of the hotel, beyond the charm, is the proximity to the southern leg of the River Walk. All of downtown and the River Walk are easily accessible from Navarro. This is a great choice if you are looking for a little charm but want convenient access to downtown.

Hotel was fantastic. Lovely old building beautifully furnished. Parking was easy and cheap and it was so close to Alamo and Riverwalk. Loved it! Also easy to get to and out of San Antonio.

We really enjoyed our stay. Older hotel that has been renovated very nicely. The room was somewhat humid & the carpet (ready for replacement) was kind of damp & yucky...bring your flip flops. Great balcony with views on the back side off street. Parking behind the hotel was $20 & tight...drive your smaller car. We would stay again!
