Expected better from Hilton
It was the last night of our family weeklong trip to California. We we’re looking forward to staying in a beautiful hotel right by the water in San Diego. The day of sightseeing was very warm and we couldn’t wait to get back to the hotel to cool down. Unfortunately that was not to be. The room temp was warm and uncomfortable. When we tried to turn down the thermostat,nothing happened. We finally called for maintenance at 9:30pm and after he came to “fix it”, the temperature never cooled down in our room. It was a very warm and sleepless night. Then, the people in the room next to us were extremely loud until almost 1am. The next morning, my husband was in need of coffee due to the lack of sleep from being warm all night. When he went downstairs to get some, the hotel was out and the gentleman just looked at him like “ oh well”. I expected more from the Hilton and the price we paid. Other than then the view and the comfortable beds, I’m not in a hurry to stay at a Hilton again.

Great hotel.
Stayed here at the recommendation of another coworker for a 1 day business trip. Staff were very nice. Rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. Its located near multiple points of interest.

Didn’t have our room ready when we got there. The lady checking us in didn’t really care or do anything to speed up the process. Room seemed okay once we got in. I did drop something on the floor so I got down on my hands and knees looking and salsa or something was spilled down the side of one bed. Dust everywhere. Their “cleaning” is very minimal. Room door wouldn’t work our last night there. Went up and down elevator twice to get new keys. Still didn’t work. Front desk told us if it didn’t work to use house phone in the hall way. Guess who never answer. I will never stay at a Hilton again. Don’t get fooled by the name it’s nothing nice!

1-ELEVATOR WAY WAY TOO SMALL FOR SCOOTER TO FIT INTO. BEAUTIFUL HOTEL, BUT IF U ARTE HANDICAPPED AND USE A SCOOTER TO GET AROUND, MOVE ON. MY GRANDMOTHER HAS USED A SCOOTER FOR YEARS AND TRAVELED FOR YEARS. TO GET HER UP AND DOWN THE HOTEL THE SCOOTER NEEDED TO BE ALTERED TO FIT INTO THE ELEVATOR. SHAME SHAME ON THEM,

The hotel is quiet and very clean. The staff is courteous and pleasant. The restaurant offers a variety of dishes. We ordered the steak and it was delicious. The area is very nice too. This was an unexpected stay due to flight cancellation. I am complacent with our choice for the night. Thank you for the hospitality!

1. There were no stores within walking distance & they had no concierge service to make-up for it. 2. They didn’t accept cash for vending machines. 3. The price of a microbrew beer was outrageous ($12 for a a 10 oz-ish plastic cup…not even a pint). HOWEVER…I REALIZE THIS IS NOT THE STAFF’S FAULT. THEY DID GIVE US THE TOP ROOM, w/A GREAT VIEW, AS REQUESTED! AND THE STAFF WAS AWESOME & VERY HELPFUL & FRIENDLY!! 😁

Stay was good and beds were comfortable. Only one key card worked but since we were staying one night- didn’t bother going to front desk to have it changed. Shower could use some pressure- it was like rain drizzling.
