My granddaughters and I stayed 4 days. We had a pool/garden room, which we loved! The outdoor area was wonderful with music, beautiful landscaping and plenty of activities. I felt like we were at a Mexican resort. The food in the on-site restaurant and bar was the best we found! Wish we would've saved money and eaten all our meals there. The fish and chips with fresh vegetables was to die for! Our room could use a little updating but the beds and bedding were top-notch. Staff, especially Damian (front desk) and our bartender (adorable with a mom who loves Matthew McConaughey but I can't remember his name!) were fabulous! We will definitely stay again!

Cleaning service was not attainable during our 2 night stay l!! Tried to get towels one night staff said they were all out !!! What I did like was the staff was easy to deal with and friendly!!

We had a room on the 2nd floor with a balcony overlooking the pool area. Very nice view; the grounds are well kept. There were a couple minor maintenance issues with the room (loose deadbolt, bathroom door was sticky and sometimes hard to shut), but not bad. There was airplane noise but that's the price you pay for being conveniently located near the airport. Overall a good location for exploring San Diego.

Some issues
Fair hotel stay, but room key did not work consistently and airport shuttle (main reason for staying there) was not readily available so had to take Uber anyway. Not much sympathy from front desk staff. Older hotel but relatively clean. Not very likely to stay at this property again.
