Great Stay Close To Orpheum Theater
We were in SF to see Hamilton at the Orpheum Theater on Market St. hotel Fiona was a short 10 minute walk from the theater. Parking is convenient with the lot on the ground floor of the hotel. It's tight, but sufficient. Our room was spacious, with a sleeper sofa, and large table and chairs, and a comfortable king bed. We were very pleased, and will stay again. The city area was pleasantly quiet. We felt perfectly safe walking to and from the theater at night. SFPD was present patrolling the area, and several members of Urban Alchemy, a quasi-security/social organization were present in several street corners. We had no concerns walking the area. As always, be aware of your surrounds, though. SF is a big city.

The Hotel is definitely clean, however, they use a lot of "air fresheners" that overwhelm anyone with a sensitive nose. They listed themselves as a hotel with parking included, but didn't tell me it was an additional $30/ day until I got there. Hotel staff was available at the front desk but seemed bored and made me feel as though my presence was an inconvenient interruption to whatever was in their phone. There was not a fridge in the room, the TV wouldn't go past channel 3, we could hear everyone in the floors above us at all times, and couldn't get the coffee maker to work. But - it was clean, beds were comfy, and nose from the city was blocked enough to sleep. All in all I was underwhelmed for the price I paid.

Great place to stay! The rooms are very nice but the AC never made the rooms cool. I had turned it on as soon as I got checked in and left for a couple hours and the room was the same temperature. It wasn’t necessarily needed as the weather was cool outside but it would’ve been nice to make the smells go away.

Not a great neighborhood but the hotel is clean, affordable, and has loads of character. Secure parking is limited but we did not have a problem. Basic continent breakfast to take back to room, and there is a 2nd floor patio with jacuzzi.

The room was clean, well-appointed, and newly renovated. I wasn't sure what to expect, because the lobby was small and a little dated, and the price was on the lower end. However, I couldn't have been happier with the room--and that is what matters to me most. The breakfast is basically pastries, but the small selection had some nice surprises and was perfect for me. I used the gym at the sister hotel across the street and it was serviceable. I feel fortunate to have found something that met my expectations so well for the price in San Francisco.

Nice natural light from tall windows in our 4th floor room, yet shrubs provided privacy, plus black out curtains for napping! Updated bathroom, very comfy bed. Reception very friendly, easy parking and our room was clean. We got take-out for dinner, appreciated glass topped table to eat at. Sofa kind of frumpy. Could not get any TV channels to come in, so we just read our books. Area is a bit sketchy but good location for our purpose, and no problems whatsoever.
