Good. 4 guests one room, only towels for 2. Brought promptly when asked. Parking for 1 car, needed 2, promptly accommodated. All navigation only leads to the burger joint attached and it seems like nav is taking you to a parking garage but, both things work out if you follow the directions. Needs map updated

The room is very clean and comfortable. The staff is very helpful and welcoming. The location is perfect for where I needed to get to while I’m in San Francisco. I would definitely stay here again.

While the property does offer free parking, the spaces are extremely limited and very tight, which may cause inconvenience. The staff, unfortunately, were unhelpful and unprofessional, leaving a negative impression. That said, the room itself was a highlight—clean, well-kept, and comfortable, making it a pleasant place to stay.

perfect! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by the helpful and cheerful staff who truly made the experience special. The motel is tucked away in the fantastic Hayes Valley neighborhood, and it was such a quiet, safe spot that we immediately felt at ease. We parked our car in the free parking lot (a huge perk in San Francisco!) and didn’t need it at all until we left. Everything was walkable—Golden Gate Park, Haight-Ashbury, Japantown, Chinatown, and even the Marina were all just a stroll away. The area is full of great restaurants and shopping, yet the motel itself is nestled in a neighborhood-like setting, giving it a peaceful vibe while still being in the center of everything. The rooms were incredibly comfortable with great beds that gave us the perfect night’s sleep. It’s also very family-friendly, and it felt like a haven during what was a special trip for us. We were in town to see Hamilton at the Orpheum Theater as a Christmas gift for our daughter, and staying at The Inn at the Grove made our trip so much more relaxed and fun. This is definitely one of my new favorite spots in San Francisco. I can’t recommend it enough! If you’re looking for a quiet, safe, and welcoming place to stay in the heart of the city, The Inn at the Grove is it.
