The Mango is very clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. Our 4 am trip to the airport was uneventful and smooth, it also lasted 3 minutes. Perfectly located. We had a very good salad and calzone for dinner. I will stay here on my next trip

Comfortable bed for a 1 night stay before and after flying in and out of San Jose. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean room and easy shuttle trip to the airport the next morning, even though it was very early. Only negitive is thin walls so we could hear other guests in the hall.

The Mango hotel is great if you're looking for an affordable hotel super close to the airport. The rooms are clean. The bed was comfortable. The provided Shampoo/conditioner was nice. The only caution I have is to ask for a room facing the pool. Rooms on the street side are extremely noisy. The restaurant was great both for a quick dinner and the filling included breakfast the next day. They have a free shuttle to the airport which is less than 5 minutes away.

This is a great value. First, kudos to the restaurant for providing top-notch service and affordable dining options. This was the best part of our stay. The front desk staff adecuately performed their function. Although I would have preferred more prompt attention to opening the main gate and only access to the hotel. Warning to other travelers: I booked this hotel because of the advertised shuttle service from the SJO, but upon booking I received a notice alerting me that they only provide transportation to the airport and I would have to find a ride to the hotel upon arrival. This was pretty inconvenient and I wish this policy were made available before booking a room. Overall 3/5 stars for the location and dining.

Lovely property with beautiful patio and excellent resturant. Rooms are basic. No hair dryer tho. They have only 1 at the front desk. You will hear airplanes.. hence why 5 min from airport. Overall… I wouldnt take a resort vacation but great place to stay near the airport and wonderful staff.

Easy access from the airport. Was let into the compound quite easily. Found it had a serene and tranquil vibe to it. Complementary breakfast was tasty and refreshing. One potential issue with being so close to the airport is the occasional sound of planes landing. Had ear plugs in my bag so it didn’t bother me or affect my sleep. Overall great place to visit!

This is my first time staying at Hotel Mango. I needed a place near the airport for one night. It is a wonderful hotel. The staff is exceptional. They are kind and helpful. (When my AC wasn’t working in my room, they promptly gave me a new room with no trouble.) The food in the restaurant is delicious. The pool is clean and refreshing. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you to Nelson and all the staff. You are AWESOME!!!

The most uncomfortable pillows ever. So big and thick that you sleep at 90 degrees! I had to makeshift one with an extra blanket. The hotel is very loud with planes taking off a few hundred yards away. No USB outlets. Breakfast is lower tier. Very clean hotel however…

The person who works at the desk at night was the most unhelpful desk agent I have ever encountered. I ordered Uber Eats and requested utensils with my order. Of course they didn't include that. So I asked the guy at the front desk (after 10 PM) if I could have utensils so I could eat my meal as there is a restaurant onsite. He refused. I couldn't eat my meal. Starving the entire night. I have stayed here multiple times before, but never again.
