If your broke stay here.
Low budget no frills but for under a $100 it’s the best of the worst. They even recovered my lost Bose headphones. So I’ll add honest to the list. Best low budget hotel in San Jose.

Really enjoyed my stay! The staff let me check in 30 minutes early which was really nice. The cleaning staff was super nice! I am bummed the pool isn’t operational but other than that it’s a great stay especially for the price

Overall ran down
Pretty ran down hotel. Felt like it isn’t cleaned at all. Didn’t like walking around without shoes on since the first time I did my feet started turning black. Toilet seat loose and hanging off to one side. Faucet handle loose so it was difficult to adjust temperature. Walls looked dirty and windows didn’t appear to be cleaned since it had hand prints on them.

We were on the first floor and heard every foot steps above including tv. The water pressure is mediocre and the hot water is just warm. We booked this last minute and did so because our usual stay in the surrounding area was sold out. Never again! We’ve spent $160 for the night and am sorely remorseful.

Beware!! Sketchy place
Not a pleasant stay. At first things were okay but then the male receptionist told me my credit card was declined, which was impossible after having just used it to shop. I gave him another credit card, declined again. He starts giving me that JUDGEMENTAL LOOK. I decided to give him my Debit Card this time. Still declined. At that point, it was enough for him to see that it's their card reader/processor with the issues. He decided to check me in without putting a card on file. I get my stuff out of the car to the 2nd floor room, and of course my key did not work. I had to put my stuff back in the car and go back to the receptionist who activates the card. I open the room to a weird smell. Honestly, I can't tell if it's just because the room looked old or if they used a cleaner with an after smell. The lightbulbs were too dim for the room, so you have to be comfortable opening the curtains to get more light. My family was in San Jose overnight for a concert in SAP Center. I would say the only positive thing here is that it's close to SAP. My family didn't want to drive late at night so finding an affordable hotel was better. Well, you get what you pay for here. I noticed while walking to our room that most of the screen of the windows are bent and doors looked old. So we felt safer taking our valuables (laptops) to our car while at the concert than leaving it in the room. If your card is declined, don't give out another. Don't use the wifi either. Spend more for peace of mind.

I was surprised
At this particular Hotel I needed something cheap for the night the price was right I just wanted to sleep I did notice that the bed protector was dirty but the sheets on top were clean there was no bed bugs but the room was not cleaned thoroughly there was hairs on the sink faucet there was urine in the toilet and bed sheets looked dirty not soiled but dirty I was finally able to fall asleep. The heater made a lot of weird noises every time it went off but it did work overall everything was good cuz I just needed to go to sleep. Would I go there again absolutely it was perfect for what I needed it for and that's a good night's sleep.
