The staff at this hotel were awesome. They helped me check-in quickly and efficiently. The location is pretty bad. Even though its next to a police station, there's lots of homeless, hookers, and poop on the sidewalks. If you walk uphill in either direction you will see more touristy areas. However, its pretty bad in the surrounding area of the hotel. Per the advice of all the staff at the hotel, I never went outside after 8pm local time.

Good Band for your Buck!
Great stay at this place. They staff was INCREBILY nice and helpful. They were very accommodating. The surrounding area is not that great but none of downtown San Jose. It was very close to the children's hospital. Great value for the money! My only compliant is I wish they would have had more of a breakfast selections. I was there for almost a week.

The property at first appears aesthetically clean in pictures, however the shower had poor water pressure, one of the beds had dirty sheets and we had to change it ourselves with 2 flat sheets, pool was not clean so we could not go in to enjoy it. No amenities such as soap, hand towels etc were provided. Staff however was very friendly, there is also a gated parking lot which made it really safe along with the police station across the street.

Property is okay; it needs some maintenance and lack of attention to details. The room was priced accordingly. The restaurant offers a limited menu and many of the options were not even available. The staff is super friendly.

The staff was very helpful. Unfortunately, the pool was out of order when we were there, but it looked like it would’ve been a nice thing to use. The room was very simple and it could have used a safe, but other than that it was quiet, comfortable, and the AC worked well.
