I give it a 9 out of 10. Everything was so beautiful and peaceful. The only reason i didnt give it a 10 was because you can hear all from the other rooms next to you and upstairs. No privacy on that.

The courtyard of the hotel is beautiful at night. It’s all lit up and is so pretty! The girl who checked us in was so sweet and friendly. The room itself is nice and spacious. They don’t provide shower washcloths (only make up removing ones) and only had two bath and two hand towels in the bathroom. If you need more, I’d ask when you’re checking in. The toilet kept running unless you flipped the handle up and the bathroom door didn’t stay close. We had a hard time regulating the temperature in the room. It may have been the bedding but I ended up opening the window early in the morning and that helped cool it down. The AC unit is by the bathroom so maybe that’s why. The bed was comfortable and the pillows are nice. It is in an unexpected area but it did not feel unsafe. Right now there is construction on the main road you take to get there but if you get in the right lane, you can bypass the traffic.

I stay here often and wouldn’t choose any other lodgings in the area. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The grounds are a small vineyard and other well kept landscaping. The rooms are clean, decorated in simple but very nice mission style, it is conveniently located just across the highway from a great market and a post office, as well as good restaurants and shopping down on The Alameda. The mission is walking distance, too. It’s a very nice hotel located in a beautiful, charming old California mission town.
