If you are looking for a just a average hotel with nothing spectacular then this is for you. They don't have early check in or late check outs. The room looked nothing like the picture. The floors and bathroom were tile and had alot of holes and cracks in them. The room did have a mini fridge and small table and chairs. There was a jacuzzi tub but i couldn't use because there was nothings to put in the drain to hold the water. They put me on the ground floor even though i asked for a higher one. There is a sitting area in front of the rooms so you cant sleep in if people are up and hanging out in the area. The doors did have locks that can be opened with your phone. I have verizon and my service sucked there so it was a issue opening the door sometimes. So if you are just looking for a room to sleep. This is for you. If you are going for a relaxing special vacation. You'd definitely be better off doing one of the chain hotels and paying a little more. I see now paying more would have been way more worth it in the long run.

We had a great stay at the Coral Princess! It's super convenient to the beach, shopping and great restaurants. We'd definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a hotel in San Juan.

Disappointing
No hot water. We were told “must be a problem with the water tank” with no apologies. No beach towels (the cleaning service didn’t deliver them that day apparently). Not one decoration in the room. There is an elevator but our room location still required carrying heavy bags up some stairs. You have to download an app to get into your room. Staff at check in was very nice, but doesn’t make up for inconvenience and not having essentials.

I don’t know how this hotel got a 5 star rating. I would say it’s 2.5 or 3. Needs updating, no safe in room and you could see through the doorframe when the doors were closed. Supposed to be a pool there somewhere but we never did see it.

The hotel itself was a pretty little hotel. The staff very nice. But there was no hot water & the Wi-Fi was not good. The location was great, walking distance to beach and shops.

So nice! Our room had everything we needed and was clean as well. The hotel staff made us feel welcome and also have a helpful introduction about the area during our check-in. The only downside is that free parking is a bit limited and the paid lot nearby is a bit expensive, but for the hotel convenience and location it was worth it!

They were super nice at this hotel. No it is not a 5 star resort. But it was very clean and around the beach and a lot of restaurants. I would recommend if you are on a budget and need a nice place to stay.

No hot water and no help from hotels.com
Check in took 40 min. Then we were given a room that was already checked in to another guest. After another 10 mins we were given another room. The room were tored looking and run down and dirty. Nothing like the pictures shown on the website. We tried to take a shower but had no hot water. We went to the front dest. She said turn clockwise and run it for 15 mins. We did still no hot water. Went back to the front desk. She said to do the same thing and if it doesnt work she doesnt know what to do. We kept the water running while I contacted hotels.com. they contacted the hotel who sent the front desk person up. They determined we had no hot water. By this ti e the water was running for 1 hr. I asked both hotels.com and the hotel for a refund and both refused. I asked the hotel for a new room they said they had nothing available. So we had to shower in ice cold water. I do not recomend this hotel nor the hotels.com website.

The room was sparse. They only provided one hand towel and no washcloths. The linens on the bed were horrible, including the pillows. The staff were very nice, but overwhelmed. They failed to tell us how to get in the building after hours…luckily another guest was exiting and let us in.
