No elevator in the building with 3 floors! No refrigeration for the food/beverages/ condiments they served for breakfast, the milk was hot, the butter and jelly had melted, and the fresh strawberries and grapes smelled terrible! It rains in the middle of the walkway from the parking lot to the lobby and was very slippery. The floor in my room was filthy, upon request to have it cleaned it was half cleaned and they didn't attempt to use a mop to clean the floor, it was half swept after requested! After complaining I was offered a first floor room in the area in whuch it rains! I left and went to another hotel! The area is unsafe!

Great little motel
This was one of the cheapest places we found and we were thoroughly impressed. I just needed a place to sleep. It was safe and we walked down the street to a restaurant for dinner. It was very small, but adequate. If I need a place to stay again this will be my first choice. The free breakfast was impressive also.

Hotel was clean but honestly unsafe and not close to anything. Uber was 15 minutes from San Juan and beaches. The Uber driver told us not to go out of the hotel because it was unsafe.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The locals were so kind and willing to advise me on places to go. This hotel had a great location for photo opportunities. The staff was always kind and they always had great conversations. I will be coming back to this hotel

No hot water in shower. Light coming in thru glass door at night. Not a good area to stay. No food choices within walking distance. Gap under door for insects/bugs to crawl in, which they did. Bathroom sink leaked. I would not recommend staying here.

Simple & cute
The hotel is great overall. I would consider it a hotel to mainly stay for convenience but if you’re expecting a typical US Hilton hotel. This is not it for you, i found it comforting because im fluent & im also a local. I stood for 6 days with my husband, i showed him around , the art all around (foreigners will consider it graffiti & vandalism) i call it home! The workers were super nice & spoke both languages & helped every step of the way. Breakfast is more so grab & go. Poptarts , granola bars , coffee , water. The basics, don’t be shy to hit the nearby local spots for more authentic food with better prices! Take a walk 2 blocks & youll see the street vendors , souvenirs & more!! Show support & love! Dont let the area scare you away because “its not in your comfort zone”. BOOK IT!

I’d stay again
The staff was superb, it’s a quaint hotel in Rio piedras PR. Walking distance to a market and some shops and restaurants. Public transportation is very near (train to bayamon literally next door) I loved it here. If you’re looking for an authentic stay in PR without feeling too touristy then I suggest Hotel Nest.

Cute little posh hotel near the train station. Property was recently renovated. Offered continental breakfast which was a plus. We were able to grab some breakfast before heading out each morning. Room was clean and had a microwave and mini fridge.
