Second time staying here, location is great, units are unique and are both secure and easy to access. 2 blocks from the beach, many shopping and dining options in walking or a short uber away. 10/10 will stay again.

La Esmeralda is a perfect place to stay in San Juan. Our suite was clean and beautiful. The kitchen is equipped with fridge, microwave, hotplate, and coffee maker. The property is very safe and ideally located close to the beach and within walking distance of many coffee shops, restaurants, bars, stores, etc. The hosts were kind and responsive. I will definitely stay here again :)

Our trip was great, the property was clean and the instructions to get into the property and how to get the keys were very clear. The staff made sure to reach out to us and follow up on our stay. Their website is great they have everything you might need for your stay. Including dinning, shopping and tours. Will definitely stay there again.

We liked the location and privacy. Self check in and out was easy, convenient onsite parking and walking distance to beach. The beach towels were a nice touch. We would have liked more bath towels. There was only one set for the whole week. Another cereal bowl would have been nice too ( there was only one) and maybe replacing rusty dish drainer. No complaints, just an honest review. We recommend and would stay here again.

It was in a decent area, VERY close to the beach, and it was quiet. The room was clean, the people were friendly. The only thing it needs is a full length body mirror.
