I wanted to love this location. Like many of the reviews show, it's an amazing location with a great view, but the customer service felt lackluster after we had driven 5 hours to rest and we were placed right next to a loud ice machine and broken vending machine that did not have any water for us to purchase.
The room itself looked like it had been sitting for a while given the musty smell, dust, and most concerning, the black mold that covered the door. We were quite frankly tired after driving otherwise we would have asked to swap rooms, but nonetheless, the black mold was a health hazard we should have brought up.
We were next to the pool on the ground level, which might indicate why there was mold.
The inn has a great location and rooms, but they really do need to put in more effort to actually deep clean these rooms once in a while.
