This Inn was two blocks from the embarcadero. Easy walking and close to dining. Quick, short drive to the Rock. The room was nice and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was a little small. There were a couple things to be aware of when booking your room. The pictures of the room on the site for the actual room I stayed in was from the entry door. It made the room look bigger than it actual. Additionally, only a few of the rooms have a view other than the parking lot or vacant field. I will assume that the rooms, with the same queen size bed with a view if the harbor are more $$. Depending on the room, the only large window that can be opened is next to the walkway, overlooking the parking lot. Not the best for air flow. For $$, it was worth it for the location near the harbor.

I stayed 2 nights for a vacation. The room wall might be too thin. I have heard every noise from next doors including snoring sound at night, opening bathroom doors, and talking. And, the building is very old.

The hotel was very clean and very centrally located, it was close to all shops and restaurants, you could walk to everything. The room itself was beautiful, updated and clean. A very spacious room with a small fridge, microwave and a coffee maker, which we liked. The front desk clerk was courteous and helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much.
