Hotel Santuario photos are lovely but . . looks are deceiving. The hotel prioritizes large commercial wedding and religious bookings over other guests. On the second night of our stay, Santuario booked a large American wedding, which prevented any guests from using the only restaurant and bar during the entire day of the wedding (Saturday) and congested its only common area with preparations. That night the hotel turned over its central courtyard, to which all rooms are exposted, to a deafening wedding DJ who played earsplitting 80s rock into the night. I called to ask how long the party would last (taking place just outside our windows in a hotel seemingly constructed of papier mache where every sound, cough, bathroom use, or conversation can be heard), and was told that it would end by 10PM. It didn't. I finally went down to speak with management and was told that no hotel representatives were available who spoke English. The party continued with shouting, screaming, drunken wedding guests for another two hours. We literally could not carry on a conversation let alone sleep.
The next afternoon, the hotel booked an Eastern religious group to chant/sing the same Buddhist chant for hours in the common area, making any room use again impossible as every note of the repetitious chanting by dozens of worshippers penetrated the rooms.
One of the worst experiences I have ever had in a hotel. Avoid.
