Beautiful clean pools, food was good. Housekeeping was awful, had to go the front desk multiple times for towels etc., service in general not great. Tip well, no tip didn't matter. Entertainment also sub par. Wasn't the worst but would not go back and wouldn't recommend.

If you’ve ever been mesmerized by TikTok videos showcasing the Dominican Republic’s crystal-clear waters, sandy beaches, and vibrant atmosphere, let me share the reality of my experience: it’s a gamble—and unfortunately, we lost. While the destination itself offers stunning views and friendly locals, the overall experience was marred by serious issues that overshadowed any positives. The Food: The meals were as bland as unseasoned oatmeal, but somehow still managed to give my wife and I food poisoning. Our vacation turned into a nightmare of fevers, vomiting, diarrhea, and body aches that felt like being stabbed repeatedly with dull knives. The food options were hard to identify, attempts at international cuisines fell flat, and the hours for food availability were frustratingly limited. The Room: Our ocean-facing room promised tranquility but delivered nightly bass-thumping music. The polyester blankets were stifling and unbreathable, and hot water was a rare luxury—sometimes unavailable for days. To make matters worse, touching the shower faucet could burn you. A family member’s bed spring was broken upon arrival and took days to be replaced, and the replacement revealed mold, adding insult to injury. The Service: The staff was friendly but spoke minimal English, making it difficult to communicate our urgent needs when we fell ill. It often took ages to get essentials like fresh linens. Water was not hot. Food was not very good. There was no iron or blow dryer in room. They charged extra fee for use of the safe. Elevator was very small. Many of the staff did not speak any English so making dinner reservations was very difficult.

I basically wanted the room and not the all inclusive because I was going to travel around. The place was pretty clean. The ocean view is beautiful, but there’s no beach. you have to take your car or take transportation to the closest bayahibe beach. The room was clean and well maintained. I would probably stay there again for the same reason.

The pictures on the website were great but seeing the property in person was a disappointment. We had to leave the next day and find somewhere else to stay. We couldn’t get anything in our cuisine to eat, we are Caribbean people and there was nothing familiar to us there. We got in Sunday and left Monday afternoon.

I was unsure about reserving here as the price was much lower than other resorts which made me skeptical. I was very impressed with this resort. Its a bit older, but very clean. The room was very stuffy at first, but it eventually got to a good temperature later in the night. All staff were amazing! Our meals in the restaurants and buffets were delicious. I would definitely stay here again.
