Casa Verano is central and yet far from any tourism!

A very well equipped apartment is located in the Casa Verano, the little summer paradise. The detached house in a quiet residential area of ​​San Sebastian de la Gomera offers stylish luxury for a perfect holiday. Relax and sunbathe undisturbed on the spacious terrace with lawn and a dip in the pool (private use). Have a barbecue at the provided electric grill.

The modern, well equipped kitchen, living room with a small library (hiking guides & novels), two bedrooms inlcuding heating and two bathrooms on the ground floor of the villa. The upstairs apartment is sporadically used by the owners, but ist not used, when the holiday apartment ist rent.

WiFi is available.

Within walking distance of a small supermarket and a restaurant (500 m), as a beautiful beach (popular snorkeling spot and fishing district) is 10 minutes away.

Attractive, spacious and comfortable house in a peaceful location.
The house is located is a peaceful part of La Gomera about 20 min walk from the centre. It's a lovely space to relax with an attractive garden and pool . There is a shop about 7 minutes walk away and you could dine at the Parador which is nearby. La Gomera is a beautiful island, wonderful for hikes or just enjoying the spectacular scenery.

Excellent accommodation on a lovely island
The accommodation has practically everything one would want from holiday accommodation. Very well equipped, with everything clearly marked from instructions on using the awning and use of the washer. Accommodation was well maintained and spotlessly clean. It is situated in a quite location just outside San Sebastian, at the top of a hill/cliff. Very peaceful, with a local supermarket 10 minutes leisurely walk away. We really enjoyed our stay. Couple of areas for improvement. We feel the bed mattresses could be improved and the bedding lacked proper pillows. We knew that there would not be internet access, but this would be a plus. If it is there you can choose not to use it. If it is not there you have to seek out an alternative. These comment should not detract from an excellent home which we thoroughly enjoyed. We hope to return to La Gomera and this will be high on out list of potential places to stay.

Unsere Erwartungen bei weitem übertroffen
Sehr schönes, großzügiges und gepflegtes, sehr sauberes Haus in ruhiger Lage. Kompletter kann man ein Haus nicht ausstatten (bis hin zu Nähzeug und Schuhputzmittel war alles da). Schön angelegter, großzügiger Garten mit vielen Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten. Abholung am Hafen und Betreuung durch Frau Altenhofer war perfekt. Wir können dieses Haus sehr empfehlen, ein Mietwagen ist jedoch ratsam.

Villa très bien équipée mais trop venteuse.
La "casa verano" est une petite villa très bien équipée où on ne manque de rien. La piscine est suffisamment grande pour pouvoir nager. Néanmoins, San Sebastian est de loin la ville la plus venteuse de La Gomera, avec en permanence des rafales de 50 km/h ou plus, ce qui empêche de profiter pleinement de la terrasse et de la piscine. C'est en effet un vent du nord, donc froid. Il fait donc frais sur la terrasse le matin et le soir. Tout ce qui est trop léger s'envole. On a froid en sortant de la piscine, qui est de plus toujours sale, malgré les efforts du jardinier pour la nettoyer, du fait des nombreuses feuilles qui volent. Et surtout le bruit du vent dans les arbres, et surtout les palmiers, bordant la propriété est insupportable. On n'a jamais l'impression de vraiment pouvoir se relaxer car on a en permanence l'impression de se trouver au milieu d'une tempête, y compris la nuit où il est impératif de dormir avec des bouchons d'oreilles pour ne pas entendre le bruit du vent. Si c'était à refaire, je ne choisirais donc pas San Sebastian pour passer mes vacances.

Wunderschöne Villa
Wir konnten wunderbar entspannen und haben uns sofort wie zu Hause gefühlt. Der Pool war eine große Freude. Einziger Wermutstropfen war, dass der kleine Supermarkt um die Ecke zum Juli hin geschlossen wurde, so dass man für morgendliches, frisches Brot in den Ort runter fahren musste.

Hervorragend Unterkunft
Sofort wohl gefühlt, perfekter Zustand und Einrichtung. Absolut ruhig gelegen, lieber mit Mietwagen (sowieso auf der Insel erforderlich), der Fußweg vom Zentrum ist sportlich, da es nur aufwärts geht. Eins der Doppelbetten quietscht arg hat uns nichts ausgemacht, da wir nur zu zweit waren. Ansonsten auch für 4 Personen reichlich Platz, auch auf der sonnigen Terasse und im Pool. Kontakt zur Betreuung vor Ort sehr freundlich, sofort erreichbar und mit guten Tipps. Fazit: Bestens weiterempfohlen

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus mit allem Komfort
Wir hatten 2 wunderschöne Wochen in diesem Ferienhaus. Das Haus liegt oben am Hang in der zweiten Reihe - aber man kann sogar das Meer sehen. Es ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet - drinnen und draußen. Es gab mehrere Sitzbereiche, Liegen und der Swimmingpool war für mich als Norddeutsche nicht zu kühl - ich hatte meinen Platz an der Sonne im Januar!

Entspannter Urlaub in sehr schönem Haus in traumhafter Umgebung
Wir waren 2 Wochen, im Dezember 2023 /Januar 2024, dort und haben alles so vorgefunden, wie im Buchungsportal beschrieben, eigentlich noch schöner. Hervorheben möchten wir die gemütliche und wohnliche Einrichtung des Hauses, die bestens ausgestattete Küche, das tolle Grundstück mit dem schönen Pool und den vielen sonnigen und schattigen Plätzen, die nette und hilfreiche Kommunikation mit der Ansprechpartnerin - Hannah, den traumhaften Ausblick mit u.a. tollen Sonnenaufgängen und die herrliche Ruhe dort. Auch das Wetter war perfekt, bei sehr viel Sonnenschein und im Durchschnitt 23°C - 24°C. Wir hatten in der Zeit einen Mietwagen und haben so gut die Insel erkunden können. Auch die Ausgangspunkte für einige sehr schöne Wanderungen ließen sich so unkompliziert erreichen. Die Insel ist ja ein echtes Wanderparadies. Die Straßen der Insel befinden sich übrigens in sehr gutem Zustand. Vielen Dank noch einmal. Wir haben alles sehr genossen und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Evelyn & Christian

Sonnentage auf Gomera
Prima Betreuung durch Hanna, die schon vor Ankunft mit uns Kontakt aufnahm und jederzeit zur Verfügung stand. Schönes, gepflegtes Haus bzw. eine schöne „Wohnung“, die alles zur Verfügung stellt, was benötigt wird. Schöner, großer Pool und auch der ist gut gepflegt. Parkplatz ist nur etwa 50m entfernt. Insgesamt ein sehr empfehlenswertes Plätzchen, um entspannte Tage auf Gomera in guter Ausgangslage zu verbringen. Einziger, und nur ein kleiner, Kritikpunkt - wir fanden die Betten mit 140cm Breite etwas schmal und würden uns das etwas breiter wünschen (ich weiß, im linken Zimmer dürfte das kaum gehen), aber das ist natürlich eine persönliche Vorliebe…

super Unterkunft / fantastic accommodation!
Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt, sauber und alles ist gut in Schuss. Der Pool ist großartig, wir haben einen großen Teil der Zeit dort verbracht :) Man kann abends an der Mauer Geckos beobachten, was meinen Sohn sehr gefreut hat. Ein kleiner Supermarkt ist in der Nähe und das Stadtzentrum kann man auch zu Fuß erreichen (ist allerdings mit viel Treppen steigen verbunden). Wir haben dort super Ferien verbracht und kommen gerne wieder!

Schöne Wohnung in schöner Umgebung
Schön nach einem Ausflug wieder in diese Wohnung zurückzukommen. Wohnbereich und Aussenbereich wunderschön. Küche gut ausgestattet, genügend Geschirr, damit die Spülmaschine nicht dauernd laufen muss. Viele deutsche Fernsehprogramme, obwohl wir das kaum genutzt haben, aber wir hätten können. Für eine Heizung des Pools, hätten wir gern auch einen Aufpreis akzeptiert. So waren wir nur kurz drin. Die Verwalterin ist freundlich und jederzeit ansprechbar.

Das Objekt ist sehr schön in die Umgebung integriert. Die Wohnung ist großzügig geschnitten und hält alles bereit, was zum täglichen Bedarf erfordert wird. Trotz der puren 18 Grad im Pool war es zu jeder Tageszeit ein echtes Vergnügen ein wenig zu schwimmen. Vor allem die Wasseraufbereitung ohne Verwendung von Chlor ist hervorzuheben.

La Gomera im Sept 22
Wir haben eine Woche La Gomera in dieser wunderbaren "Villa" verbracht. Alles war perfekt und wie beschrieben. Mit Hanna hatten wir die beste Betreuerin. Stets bemüht uns schon während der Anreise alle notwendigen Infos zukommen zu lassen. Wir werden das Haus definitiv weiterempfehlen und könnten uns vorstellen nochmal unseren Urlaub hier zu verbringen Stefan und Elke

Wunderbar entspannend und erholsam!
Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Haus ist komplett ausgestattet, sehr sauber und komfortabel eingerichtet. Schon vor der Anreise wurden wir sehr freundlich kontaktiert und Fragen bzgl. Der Anreise mit der Fähre wurden nett beantwortet. Der Pool ist großartig und sehr sauber, wurde regelmäßig von einem netten Gärtner gereinigt. Der Ort ist fussläufig erreichbar, wobei man auf Gomera die Höhenunterschiede berücksichtigen muss. Vom Ferienhaus aus kann man alle Ausflugsziele auf der Insel problemlos erreichen. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Wieder hervorragend
Wir waren zum zweiten Mal in der Casa Verano und haben unseren Aufenthalt ebenso sehr genossen wie beim ersten Besuch. Die Frühstücke und „Sundowner“ auf der Terrasse bei herrlichem Sonnenschein haben uns wieder begeistert, und auch die Abende im gemütlichen Wohn-/Essbereich haben zur Erholung beigetragen. Wir empfehlen die Casa Verano nach wie vor uneingeschränkt und bedanken uns insbesondere auch für die sehr nette Betreuung vor Ort durch Frau Kuckuck.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft sehr genossen. Der Kontakt mit Hanna verlief einwandfrei und wir fühlten uns sehr wohl. Einziges kleines Manko waren die vielen Ameisen im Haus (vorallem in der Küche). Ansonsten war die Unterkunft sehr gepflegt und sauber!

So gemütlich wie zu Hause
Unser Aufenthalt war sehr schön und wir können das Haus wärmsten weiterempfehlen. Man selbst wohnt im Erdgeschoss des Hauses mit direktem Zugang zum Pool und Terrasse. Die Vermieter haben eine Wohnung in der zweiten Etage. Waren aber während unseres Aufenthaltes nicht da. Es gab vor Ort eine deutsche Ansprechpartnerin, die das Ferienhaus für das deutsche Ehepaar verwaltet und zum Check in und check out kurz vorbei kam. Das Haus ist geräumig und es ist alles vorhanden. Zur Begrüßung gab es Sekt sowie einen großen Trink-Wasserkanister. 5 Minuten zu Fuß ist ein kleiner Supermarkt, der die nötigsten Dinge hat. Größere Supermärkte sind in der Stadt ca. 20 Minuten zu Fuß (bergab). In der Küche gab es alle wichtigen Gewürze, Öle und Essige. Für die Waschmaschine gab es Waschmittel und den Geschirrspüler Tabs. Man musste sich um nichts kümmern und konnte so sehr gut entspannen. Die ganze Anlage ist gepflegt und blüht. Außerdem gibt es überall Sichtschutz, so dass man sich nicht von den Nachbar-Häusern auf den Teller schauen lassen muss. Der Pool hat eine schöne Größe, ist im Winter aber sehr kühl und dadurch nicht lange nutzbar. Die Betten waren sehr bequem, es gab ausreichend Handtücher und im Schlafzimmer sogar eine Heizung für kühlere Nächte. Deutsches TV ist vorhanden sowie viele Bücher und Reiseführer über La Gomera und Wandertouren. In der Unterkunft fahren locker 2 Paare Platz. Vom der Terrasse aus ist sogar das Meer zu sehen. Die Nachbarn sind alle sehr nett. Nach San Sebastián zur Fähre fährt man ca. 8 Minuten. Die Unterkunft liegt unweit vom Hotel Parador. Parken kann man an der Straße bei der Baustelle. 2 Häuser zuvor entsteht ein neuer Komplex. Die Bauarbeiten haben unseren Urlaub nicht negativ beeinflusst. Zum Nationalpark benötigen man ca.35 - 45 Minuten. In den Norden der Insel sowie Valle Gran Rey eine Stunde. Die Straßen auf La Gomera sind sehr gut, aber sehr kurvig, deswegen braucht man für die Strecken länger. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und empfehlen es gern weiter.

Super schöner Aufenthalt, hat alles perfekt funktioniert!
Wir können die Unterkunft nur wärmstens empfehlen, wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in San Sebastian! Es war alles - wie auf den Fotos - sehr schön und gepflegt. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, die Zimmer sind mit genügend Stauraum sehr angenehm eingerichtet. Auch das Wifi funktioniert wunderbar. Die Liegenschaft befindet sich in einem sehr angenehmen Viertel. Der Vermieter war auch zu jederzeit gut erreichbar und absolut unkompliziert.
