The room we were in was right under the stairs so it was extremely noisy and dark - no light coming into the room. Not the most pleasant stay we have had here but it was otherwise ok.

Awesome place, friendly service
Nice white sheets, great parking, clean pool and even better hot tub, it was a super great stay by the beach. Got knocked on the door for room cleaning services, but asked only for towels. Received these promptly and continued for our 3 nights stay

Across the highway from the beach so that was the big draw. And two miles from Hearst Castle. A quiet and convenient location. The accommodations were comfortable and clean, nothing special but nothing lacking. Would recommend for a simple stay.

Great place and fair pricing. Literally across the street from the beach front. I love San Simeon and have gone there multiple times in the last 6 years. Specifically staying here at the silver surf. Can’t go wrong here

Rooms are being remodeled and the price is average. We were told they only provide 2 towels per room. When we voiced concern, the female office staff claimed she was the manager, however she was unprofessional and rude. She refused to tell us the name of the owner, stating that it is irrelevant and accused us of complaining about everything and told us we needed to come to the office and talk to her there. The gentleman (custodial staff?) was helpful and understanding. However- We were extremely disappointed that our room was opened and left ajar during the day, even though we put a do not disturb sign. The staff justified the incident, telling us the housekeeper must have re-stalked because the wind blew off the privacy sign and the door didn't latch. Although the retro look is adorable, The pool area and other locations in the hotel are not ADA complaint nor Wheel chair accessible.

nice room with partial ocean view (as expected). Had a problem checking in due to a discrepancy with Expedia. Why hide the fact that hotels.com owned by Expedia. Different pricing I guess to screw the consumer.

We had a ground floor room and you could easily hear people upstairs walking around. And the neighbors next door were easily heard also. Shower was low pressure and temperatures were backwards.
