Very poor standard of cleaning & not ready on time!!!
On Saturday 25th August we arrived at the chalet at 4pm hoping to gain access as this is the check in time to find it wasn't ready, we left and then came back at 4.30pm to find the cleaners still in there, we waited a few minutes for them to finish, so as you imagine we were not very happy. On departure you state if we do not leave by 10am (unless alternative arrangements are made) we will incur a fee of £100 plus VAT, we I be compensated for the late check in due to your cleaners? When we entered the property the standard of cleaning was very poor. The cobweb on the kitchen window! The bathroom bin wasn't emptied! The shower plug/filter is disgusting! The fridge was also disgusting, I had to clean it before I could put anything in it! The floor, our socks were filthy just from walking on it, we couldn't clean the floor as the pad on the mop was worn out! The first thing I had to do was go and buy cleaning products to clean the place including the drawers before putting our clothes away, I also had to clear out the drawers in the kitchen! The only clean item we found was the ove
