The Space:
'Salt at Sandy Point' is a stylish, comfortable and contemporary holiday home 200 metres from the pristine beach of Sandy Point, and 100 metres to the shops and playground.
Enter the home into a cool lounge, perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. Grab a game, book or toy or watch the Smart TV.
The large front balcony boasts uninterrupted views of Wilsons Promontory and glorious sunrises, while the back balcony and private yard is ideal to watch sunsets with glimpses of the Inlet, with a BBQ and a fire pit.
The home is ideal for 2 families with a King Bedroom, Queen bedroom and Bunk room with triple bunk and an option for a double futon bed, and downstairs a sofa bed.
The stylish industrial style kitchen has everything you will need to help cook up feasts for the family: pantry staples, rice cooker, blender, toaster, microwave, toastie press, 5 burner Euromaid gas oven and stove top and dishwasher… and for the coffee lovers a choice of a coffee pod or Jura machine, or plunger.
Over looking the Kitchen/Dining is a comfortable loft bed ideal for lazing with a book or to watch a sunset.
The toilet and laundry are seperate from the bathroom with a front loader Samsung washing machine. The bathroom is modern with a bathtub and walk in shower. Both are behind custom built barn doors. Careful as the water is HOT!
The King and Queen bedrooms have access to the back balcony and are light filled and have a calm aesthetic.
Some beach gear is there for use too. Come relax and enjoy the beautiful and serene area of Sandy Point
For the boating type the inlet is a few minutes drive and for the trekkers Wilsons Promontory just 20 minutes.

Guest Access:
You have use of the entire house.
Guest access information will be provided the day of your arrival via email. This will include details on how to locate the property, where to locate the key safe, and the key safe combination to access the keys.
The Neighborhood:
Situated approximately 2.5 hours from Melbourne and approx. 40 mins to Wilsons Promontory. The property is located close to the Ocean beach for swimming, surfing and fishing. At Sandy Point there is a Surf Lifesaving club which patrols the beach over summer; they also have a bar, occasional meals and events.
Launch a boat from Shallow Inlet for or enjoy kite surfing & jet skiing (not supplied).
The Sandy Point General store is the hub for groceries, bait, boat hire, petrol, gas, alcohol and an Australia Post outlet.
Paradise Point Café is the only Café is town and has snacks, sit down & takeaway meals, a beer garden, live entertainment over summer.
A small Mini golf course is located next to our office on Beach Parade.
Playgrounds & public BBQ areas are located next to the Sandy Point Hall.
Tennis courts are located behind the Sandy Point hall and equipment can be hired from the
General Store.
The Sandy Point Hall hosts art festivals, markets & other events over summer.
If you are staying at Port Welshpool you are very close to the world famous Port Welshpool Long Jetty, and the departure jetty for cruises to Wilson's Prom, as well as Port Albert and other towns.
If you are staying at Fish Creek or Waratah Bay, it's only a short trip to Meeniyan, driving on some of the most picturesque country roads in South Gippsland.
If you are staying in Toora, you are only 20 minutes from Foster, and surrounded by the beautiful rolling hills of South Gippsland.
Getting Around:
Sandy Point is a small coastal town, so walking is the preferred method of getting around. Cars are required to get around if you wish to explore the country side and surrounding areas.
Other Things to Note:
Due to the closure of the Gippsland Power Stations, during peak times (i.e. the middle of summer) we are prone to power blackouts. Mobile phone coverage can also be poor, travellers are advised to use Telstra for the best coverage in our area. This is unfortunately completely out of our control.
Each property in Sandy Point is on tank water and septic systems.

Our Real Estate office is located at 111 Beach Parade, Sandy Point, should you have any questions or concerns. The office hours are Monday-Friday 9am-5pm and we are available by appointment on weekends and public holidays.
