Fantastic for what we wanted; clean , neat, communicative when we needed it; Location was perfect for us and enough places to eat near the house; all utensils were there and some left over food, which we contributed to; we would love to come back; 5 stars+ cliff and becky rosen

Family visit to Bermuda
Wonderful property, very comfortable for a family of four. Very helpful owner. The only potential issue is that it is further from many tourist-focused locations on the island and so the travel to/from the house can be onerous, at times

Somerset Village Cottage
The location was great and the grounds were private and serene. We appreciated the back porch with the table and enjoyed having morning coffee at the table and watching the chickens roam through the yard. We had several issues with cleanliness (or lack of) and we had to take care of the issues ourselves. We had several problems in the kitchen with items not being properly cleaned. We took care of these issues but was surprised that so much had not been taken care of properly. Perhaps this is an unusual occurrence at this house but we were not very happy about having to clean when we arrived. We chose to go to the house and check out what supplies were needed before going to the store. I'm glad we did because we had to purchase several things that normally we have been provided with at other rental properties - basic items like hand soap, paper towels, dish soap, coffee, etc. Be aware that you may have to buy your own basic necessities. We do appreciate the owners for giving us a heads up on this though. The location was great. It was an easy walk to the market, restaurants, & ice cream shop. We used public transportation and the bus stop was close by. The post office nearby also sold bus tokens which was convenient. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but would definitely check out a different property next time we are in Bermuda.

Charming!
My family and I LOVED staying at this sweet cottage! Spacious and comfortable with so many conveniences and amenities! Hosts were beyond accommodating and provided information and tips about the area that greatly helped in our planning! I appreciated their insights as we navigated around the island ourselves. Felt like we were in paradise. Absolutely would stay here again and have already recommended to friends and family! Very thankful for our time here!

Charming Cottage
For a small family who enjoys quiet and a bucolic spot, this cottage is perfect. This classically styled Bermuda cottage sits back from a small lane in the middle of a beautiful garden. Complete with outdoor shower, croquet lawn, 2 full baths, a well rquipped kitchen with comfy living room and sitting room, this is the perfect spot to chill. It’s private beach sits a few paces down the lane on the quiet side is Cambridge.

Rest and Recovery in Somerset
wonderful stay at the Coach House after the Newport-Bermuda Race. Great spot to recover. The house and property were larger than I thought they would be. Kids enjoyed croquet. We ate a couple of dinners the hotel nearby. Cambridge Beaches. It was a bit far from Hamilton and the RBYC where all the race parties weee. Would recommend twizy rental for sure. Ferry and Bus was good for us but a bit limiting.

Wonderful stay in Bermuda
Beautiful and spacious home with a gorgeous yard in paradise! All in all, we loved it! We would absolutely return. Definitely bring swim shoes (there is a lot of broken glass on the beach in Somerset and rocks elsewhere). Get the bus pass but beware of the cruise ship passengers filling the buses before they get to you. Go early (and would not advise renting a scooter as a local who was formerly a paramedic told us they literally pick up dead tourists daily from motorbike accidents). It’s a lovely home and beautiful people in Bermuda!

Had a wonderful stay - pictures don’t do the property justice! The interior was spacious, clean and nicely decorated. The backyard is beautiful and peaceful. The house is walkable to a nice large public beach and the houses private beach was small but beautiful to walk to in the mornings and evenings

What a perfect cottage! Tucked away on a quiet lane, surrounded by a lovely garden and yet just steps from the village, we loved it all. The house was perfect for us as a base of operations for adventuring about in Bermuda. We submit that no one has enjoyed it more than its most recent inhabitants - thank you!

Amazing property and beautiful home! Everything needed was there and if it wasn't it was just a short walk away! The short walk to the little private beach was filled with the scents of Oleander and other flowers. So peaceful, loved the privacy. I highly recommend this home. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Coach House. It really was just right!

Amazing Coach House
We booked a three weeks day at the coach house in mangrove Bay and or delighted by every aspect. The house is beautifully, set up, immaculately, clean, and in a park, light setting with absolute privacy on all four sides. Cooking in the expensive kitchen with very commodious preparation space is a true joy. Local supermarkets are of a very high standard and provide. Everything one could need. Local farms Are also furnishing fresh produce! Everything about Coach House was absolutely perfect. We rented a small car for the duration of our stay and found it very useful for day, trips and trips to the nearby royal dockyard to catch the ferry to Hamilton. We also use the car to drive to Saint David’s St. George’s and the amazing beach at Cooper’s Island. This is truly a remarkable house rental and I recommend it with no reservations whatsoever.

Slice of heaven
My family of five stayed at coach house last year. We loved it so much we came back this year. Amazing space, BEAUTIFUL yard, well stocked house for cooking. The ONLY negative would be the pull-out couch in the front livingroom. My 19yr old stayed on it and was struggling to get a good night sleep so he switched to the air mattress that was also provided. Comically, the air mattress would slowly deflate during the night so he would wake up in a kind of human hotdog situation. It won't stop us from coming back though. I would just recommend bringing a camping roll. We returned this year with my parents who stayed up the road at Cambridge beaches. The house was perfect for meals together or a space for all seven of us to play games. I truly cant wait until our next opportunity to return! Thank you for sharing the space!

Spacious, well-equipped house on beautiful grounds in great location
Our family of four (couple in our 50s, 1 teenager, 1 in early 20s) loved staying here. Beth responded to us so quickly. The grounds are huge and beautiful. We watched the stars from the chairs on the back porch every night we were there. The house itself worked really well for us. It is large for a family of four, and the layout is great. It's well-equipped (beach towels, shower outside to wash your feet off, washer and dryer, and more). We enjoyed the location - walking distance from several bus stops, a grocery store, a nice, uncrowded beach (Somerset Long Bay Park - it looked like it would be fantastic for little kids), H20 Sports (we went there twice - once to go kayaking and paddle boarding and once to rent a boat and go snorkeling for the day - definitely a highlight), the Cambridge Beaches Resort (we ate lunch at Breezes and wandered around the property), and a good Italian/pizza place (il Pomodoro). If you take the bus (we got bus passes and were glad we did - we enjoyed taking the buses everywhere), definitely allow some time as the buses don't always come when they're technically supposed to. We had a wonderful week in Bermuda and greatly enjoyed staying at this property!

A great spot
Coach House is an awesome basecamp for the Somerset area. The yard is immense! And the 'private living room' was an exceptional 3rd bedroom with a door that fully closes the room off. We walked easily to the grocery store and Cambridge Beaches was a super short walk for dining out and beautiful beach. The little private beach included with the house is small and shaded, but a cute little hideaway!

Beautiful and relaxing
We had a wonderful stay at the Coach House! We walked almost every day to Somerset Long Bay Beach, a quiet and idyllic public beach that is very close by; at this time of year, we mostly had it all to ourselves. It would be great for younger kids as the waves are very gentle. The Coach House was ideal for our needs, including a large, well-equipped kitchen opening out to a family sitting area. We loved the back patio, where we had coffee every morning, and we usually ate meals outside at the table there. The very large back yard and garden were a major plus (again, great for kids) and we enjoyed watching many birds. The little private beach is separated from the house by a very short walk up the lane Tween Walls, and it has a small lawn above with a great view of Mangrove Bay (the Coach House itself does not have a view of the water). We mostly went to Somerset Long Bay, though (just look out for pieces of broken glass). The food market was an easy walk. We had such a lovely time, we didn't want to leave!

We were attending a Cambridge Beaches wedding and loved staying at your home! It was supplied with everything we needed, including the full kitchen. It was a five-minute walk to the resort & a ten-minute walk to the market. Our family loved the home layout - it was perfect. The yard was incredible - spent the afternoons sitting on the yard & porch enjoying the ocean breezes and views. Highly suggest this location to everyone :-)

Frenchman's Bay Hideaway
This charming two-bedroom, one-bath bungalow comes with a fully equipped kitchen and a small living room, as well as a deck with outdoor seating. It was perfect for our three-night, first time visit to the Virgin Islands, and I would highly recommend it for those who prefer a self-service getaway and don't expect a view of the water. The hosts seem to have thought of all the amenities, providing everything from coffee to snorkeling gear. It's hard to imagine staying here without a car, but beware of driving on the island, and even negotiating the steep driveway. The rooms abut another studio rental across the deck the hosts' home and above their workshop. Just down the road, perhaps a five-minute walk, is the Limetree Beach Resort, with beach access, a pricy small market for incidentals like wine, cheese, sunscreen, and breakfast sandwiches, and the Lanai, a good poolside bar and grill, all open to the public.

Nice little gem
The property was very nice and secluded. We appreciated the private beach especially on the days when the cruise ships were in. however, it wasn't clear to us that this beach was actually remote from the property. this was not a big deal, but we would suggest that the access to and beach be improved to gain maximum benefit from it.
