My husband and I have been coming to Sanibel for over 30 years. Our children, now adults, spent many years playing in the sand and surf, and enjoying all that Sanibel offers. We now spend about 12 weeks a year on the island, and consider Sanibel our second home.

We recently purchased this unit, and plan on carrying-on seamlessly from the previous owners. Virtually everything is new, and our goal is to provide you with high quality comforts for your enjoyment in paradise!

Top reasons to rent this unit:

1. Master bedroom – King sized bed and accompanying coastal furniture, including 37” flat screen with HDTV. Excellent closet space, ceiling fan, and more, plus a view of the ocean from your bed. Carpeted floors.

2. Kitchen – Granite countertops, fully stocked with quality glasses, plates, knives; full appliances (dishwasher, microwave, etc.) – most units have basic stockings. And for you coffee lovers, both a regular coffee maker and a Keurig machine.

3. Guest Bedroom – Ours is setup with both queen and double beds, accompanying coastal furniture, ample closets, ceiling fan, and 30"flat screen TV. The bed arrangement is far superior to many units which have two twin beds. Adults hate twin beds! There is room for four. Carpeted floors.

4. Bathrooms - The Master bath has a recently updated walk-in shower and multifunction shower head; granite countertops. Guest bathroom has full tub, newly decorated, also granite countertops. Tile floors.

5. Living & Dining Area – Entirely new furniture in coastal décor, area rug, tile floors, and 50" TV, and ceiling fan; books, puzzles, games. and things for kids are provided. The dining table seats six (6).

6. There is a common laundry room available in the building. It has a full-sized washer and dryer.

7. Lanai – The lanai sliders completely open for lovely sea breezes and Gulf views! A ceiling fan has been installed allowing you to relax outside even in the hot/humid weather. There are comfortable chaise lounges to boot!

8. Pool and Beach – The heated pool and powder white beach is barely 50 yards away; however far enough that you don’t hear noise. It is one of the best pools on Sanibel, and the closest to the beach. Miles of white sand and world famous shelling await for your enjoyment. It cannot get much better than this! Both the pool and the beach access area have rinse off stations to clean up. Lounge chairs are available at the pool, and we provide beech chairs, noodles, beach umbrellas, and kids toys for your added enjoyment.

9. Sundial Hotel- The Sundial Beach Resort has been voted a top vacation destination, and there are many amenities that you can share in. These include 2 dine-in restaurants - Seabreeze restaurant, open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Shima Japanese steak house/hibachi, Shima Sushi restaurant, Beach Bites at the pool deck, and of course there is the Tiki Poolside Bar where you can order drinks. You will definitely want to indulge yourself in the onsite Spa! Tennis, Pickle Ball and Bocci Courts are available with a reservation and a fee thru the Hotel. You could never leave the premises if you dont want to! Some amenities are only available to Hotel guests. This includes the main swimming pool, beach equipment and fitness center. Be sure to check with the Hotel for "Day Passes"!

10. BBQ and shuffleboard are right near the Sundial West buildings. You can fish right at the beach, and there is a public golf course nearby.

11. Beach items - Beach items are located in a storage closet next to our unit. Many units do not provide beach accessories. There are beach chairs, umbrellas, buckets and shovels for the kids and an umbrella. (Note - this assumes someone does not remove them from our unit).

12. Sanibel offers miles of bike paths and walking trails, numerous outdoor recreational activities and shelling, including boat rentals and fishing charters, the J.N. Darling National Wildlife Refuge, Bailey-Matthews National Shell Museum, Sanibel Lighthouse, BIG Arts Theater and Museum, Sanibel Historical Village, public golf course, Farmers Market and a wide variety of dining choices.
