Stayed here, as I had a meeting in the town and my customer recommended this hotel. My room was enormous, and given my late arrival time (after 9pm), the staff in the kitchen (despite it having closed) made food for me as I was starving. I couldn't recommend this hotel enough. I didn't check out the gym but if the rooms are anything to go by, this will be one of the best hotel gyms I have been to. Parking was also free, which was a big bonus and plenty of space available.

Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful and the sauna was very relaxing. No air-conditioning, but they provided a fan that allowed us sleep well.

This was my first stay at Hotel Federwerk and it was a great experience! The room was large, comfortable and well lit - really first class! The hotel as a whole was modern and in top shape, and the staff were helpful and friendly. The restaurant in the hotel was quite good, and the free breakfast buffest every morning was delicious. Parking behind the hotel was very convenient since I had a rental car, and it is just a short walk to the tourist info center in Sankt Georgen as well as local shops for anything one might need. I didn't have time to use it, but the fitness room was large and well equipped for folks who want to work out during their stay. Highly recommend Hotel Federwerk to anyone visiting the Schwartzwald and Sankt Georgen!

Lovely boutique Hotel and very helpful staff. The room was comfortable, with nice mattress, linen and pillows. Good bathroom, strong wifi, and a lovely breakfast. Very happy with my stay here and will come again.

Don't think, just book!
Although it looks like a business hotel, this is one of the best hotels in the area of black forest. Super clean, very friendly staff - you get a bus pass to take a tour around black forest. You are close to triberg and to switzerland in the south. And you have on of the best restaurants in black forest 'Kippys' right next to this hotel.

Hotel is fairly new and clean. We initially enjoyed our one night stay until we went down for breakfast the next morning. We were told by reception at check-in that breakfast was until 10:30am (it was over at 10:00am) so we missed out on breakfast. Then we were checking out and was told about a €5 tourism charge bc the hotel provides you with a one day bus pass. They never gave us the bus pass at check-in and have it to us at check-out expecting us to pay for it. I understand it’s €5 but it’s the principle. If you stay here just make sure you get your bus pass at check-in. Rooms were clean, hotel had plenty of parking and easy commute to surrounding areas.

Awesome brand new property in the heart of town. The rooms were perfect, extremely comfortable beds, plenty of everything including towels and toiletries, and immaculately clean! The girl at the front desk was so kind and gave us some fantastic recommendations for dinner and drinks. We highly recommend a stay at this hotel! Wish i could give it more than 5 stars!

We were very pleasantly surprised at the high standard of accommodations for this hotel. Staff really pay attention to detail and care a lot for a positive customer experience. This is a gem of a hotel in the Black Forest for a reasonable price.

A real find
This is a very new hotel, furnished to a high standard. The room was large and very nicely furnished and the bed comfortable. We have rarely stayed at such a nice place at such a reasonable price. Breakfast was ample and tasty and service friendly.

The hotels is fairly new, the rooms are great, plenty of parking in the rear of the hotel, the restaurant is outstanding, I would definitely stay there any time. I recommend this property as a first choice, you would not regret it. The staff were very friendly, front desk clerk was superb.

We were greeted by friendly staff and they immediately turned on the sauna for us. What a beautiful facility; the sauna and accompanying showers were wonderful. The entire hotel felt like a museum and had a light, friendly vibe. The surrounding neighborhood was nice for families.
