Small two bedroom felt tight. Bathroom did not like the most , When I showered it was wet all over the floor because it was a 1/2 shower.I don't like those type of bathrooms and I wish I had known when I booked the hotel.I would have never stayed there

Absolutely lovely, newly renovated, and in a great location. Our room was small and had little space to put suitcases or personal items, but it was beautifully decorated and very quiet. Note the hotel's policy is that guests have to request housekeeping each day they would like it. Valet parking seemed expensive at $30/day but we did some research and discovered that is the same rate that the city charges for overnight parking in public lots, so it was fine. (Street parking is not really a reliable option in that part of the city.) We loved the location right on State Street.

Old Santa Barbara Charm

Stayed for the weekend. Rooms are small. But updated, and very nice. The elevator is old, charming, and slow. The doors to rooms close heavily so it does get loud. Besides that, we would stay here again!

My wife and I had a delightful stay at Hotel Santa Barbara. From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us warmly, with the front desk team and valets setting a friendly tone. We particularly enjoyed our time at the lobby bar, where the bartenders were not only attentive but also genuinely engaging, making our evenings even more enjoyable.
