THE NEIGHBORHOOD OVERVIEW The city of Caniço is between Madeira Airport and Funchal, the main city of Madeira. With several places of interest, the city is known for its calm and the 'Reis Magos' beach, which is close to the apartment. This area has a beautiful promenade, which makes the connection of the sea and the land in perfect harmony. The building is situated about a kilometer from this fantastic promenade, ideal for a walk on summer evenings and winter afternoons or to enjoy the beach during the hottest days.
Nearby there are several bars and restaurants where you can delight in our gastronomy or with international cuisine. In addition to the nearby options, you can travel to the center of the village of Caniço (five minutes by car) where you will find a greater variety of restaurants, a pharmacy and a shopping center with a medium-sized supermarket.
GETTING AROUND Nevertheless, we recommend the private transfer service as the best option to get to the flat. Contact us in advance to schedule a private transfer car with our local partners. It is cheaper than taking a taxi by your own in the airport!
There are bus stops nearby to get you to Funchal.

Excellent flat, ideal location
There were 3 adults sharing the flat and it had everything we wanted. Canico is a lovely area with plenty of bars, restaurants and supermarkets.

Große helle Wohnung. Bestens ausgestattet.
Die Wohnung ist genauso so schön wie beschrieben. Alles hat gepasst. Leider war in der zweiten Februarhälfte das Wetter nicht so gut, aber die Wohnung und die Heizung (Klimananlage) haben uns trotzdem einen schönen Urlaub gesichert.

Sehr schöne Wohnung in Caniço
Sehr schöne moderne Wohnung mit hochwertiger Ausstattung, Meerblick, sehr sauber, sehr gute Matratzen, TV mit vielen Programmen, gute Anbindung um die Umgebung zu erkunden, Geschäfte und Restaurants in Fußnähe zu erreichen.
Die Kommunikation und Abwicklung mit der Agentur/Gastgeber "An Island Apart" war sehr gut.
