This hotel is walking distance from the square! You have to pay for the parking, but that is better than trying to find a parking place downtown. The meters cost a lot! If you can find one, you have to walk farther than you would from this hotel. Lo

This hotel is centrally located in downtown Santa Fe. It is a comfortable walking distance to great restaurants, cafes, art studios, shopping & churches/missions. The hotel itself and room was not fancy but clean, quiet and the beds were comfortable. All hotel staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. There are only 2 levels to this hotel and there is no elevator to the second floor where I stayed. The stairwell and property is well lit and there is plenty of parking spots. Overall, it was a very nice stay

Nice location, delicious and awesome Chinese restaurant called Zeng attached to the building in the front of the El Sendero Inn!! The staff were wonderful at check in letting us have early check in as well late check out when calling down the morning of. The room was clean, nice showers and cool wooden sliding door to the bathroom!! The only thing they need to do is put less decaf coffee pods in the room and more regular coffee. No biggie I found the housekeeper and asked for more. They have stairs no elevators. But over all great place to stay, will return!!

Great location and price
Still the best value and location of any downtown Santa Fe hotel. Easy walk to the plaza, restaurants, museums, Canyon Road, etc. El Sendero provides a very basic room, but the rooms are safe and clean, the price can't be beat, and the location is perfect for exploring downtown Santa Fe.

Liked the walking distance to downtown plaza and restaurants. Only complaint were some towels were old and had a smell to them. Beds were great, clean and pillows were perfect firmness. Room was very clean .
