Great place, kinda noisey streets outside later
lovely and funky old place; love that part. Friendly and helpful staff. The main problem is with the late night party animals out in the street hooting, hollering, screaming, etc. Most of them young: all of them drunk or ? Kind of a problem in the whole area. Where are the police? Who knows...but I'd rethink staying there again despite everything else just so I could sleep.

Stock up on some toothpaste, please
Spotlessly clean hotel, rooms are very spartan but nevertheless clean. Hotel staff are incredibly friendly and the location is excellent. My one complaint is that I arrived minus my toothbrush and toothpaste, so requested a traveler's toothbrush and packet of toothpaste from the front desk; normally this request isn't a problem, but twenty minutes after my request the front desk called to inform me they were out of toothpaste and toothbrushes. As such, I had to get my car from the valet and drive to a CVS. Obviously I survived the ordeal, but I would have preferred not having to drive at night for something as basic as a toothbrush and toothpaste. I would like to politely suggest the St. Francis make certain they're stocked up on these items for their guests, because at their price point, there's no excuse for making your guests drive out to a drugstore. This issue aside, I would still recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to stay at a hotel central to everything in downtown Santa Fe.

This is a unique and beautiful hotel. Each room is simply done in a very pleasing way. The staff was exceptional. The only thing that was a problem for me, and it’s not insignificant, is that the water pressure in the shower was weak and the water never rose above lukewarm. That tainted an otherwise lovely stay.

Beautiful, clean and aesthetically pleasing. Staff was courteous. Downside was the slamming of doors early hours of the morning from housekeeping while they were cleaning other rooms and the blowing of leaves this made it difficult to sleep or for a quiet escape. Queen size beds for traveling families would be a nice addition to the spacious double room. Overall good experience.
