The Lafonda is a beautiful hotel right in the middle of downtown Santa Fe. It is surrounded by shops and restaurants. The plaza is right across the street where you can enjoy live music, an Indigenous peoples market and restaurants. It was the perfect location.

I expected much more from a 5 star hotel. The staff was short, the room was dusty, the room @600$ for the night was tiny, it was noisy at dinner, and there was no room at the bar. Food...well sub par for Dennys. Drinks, watered down schlop. Worst toilet paper on the planet, like painters trowell a just pasting it arround. Wont be going back.

Location was great. Room was a bit small due to it being an older hotel. Not fond of all the dogs in the lobby and restaurant area. Parking was very expensive.
