Great place for diverse groups
Quiet little town and neighborhood which was great for a relaxing vacation. The other attractions were still doable for us. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Quiet side of the island
The house was neat and clean and the host was very friendly and accommodating. Close access to everything you might need. The people in the area were super friendly and inviting. The only problem was that there weren’t enough plates and forks for my family of 8. There were some plastic ones provided though so we just made use of those. A great place to stay if you are looking for a more laid back, local stay. Just be aware that the beach here is more suitable for water sports than swimming…which was a fine change of pace for us!

Great family memories
This place is a hidden gem for a nice vacation away from the crowded areas but still convenient to our plans while visiting PR. The beach directly behind the property is a bit rocky, but the shore is great just a short walk away. It worked well for our family of nine. Multiple bedrooms and bathrooms. Ample parking for multiple vehicles.

Beautiful sunsets!
My family and I loved staying at Villa Del Sol. It’s right on the Caribbean Sea with a small patch of beach to enjoy. There is a larger beach area within walking distance. We enjoyed watching the wind surfers from the backyard as well. The home was perfect for our large group. Everyone had their own space and plenty of space to all gather together. Being able to open the downstairs up made up for how the weather was. Between the fans and the sea breeze, it was perfect! They were quick to answer any questions that arose during our stay. We will rent here again when we return to PR!

Pretty view, spacious home, a little warm
Had a fun experience! The home was spacious for our group of 7. The rooms had AC but the rest of the home didn’t so it made it uncomfortable to be home during the day/ night. There was a pretty view of the ocean each morning, a grill for BBQ’s, a kayak and a gated driveway. :) overall a good home.

Overall- Great Experience
Cons: -place was organized, however, it appeared to have not been deep cleaned. Also, maybe due to humidity and the place not being opened prior to our visit, it smelled bad. -the listing said 2 kitchens, we only found one. However, this was not a major problem. -beach was dirty. Even though is not the host’s fault, i will list it here since you should keep in mind that you may not be able to enjoy the water/beach. - additional to the amount charged for each night, you will also have to pay a fee per person when you exceed 4 people. I find it a little unfair. However, we complied and had a great time. Pros: -BEAUTIFUL setting. -VERY spacious house. -you will find ALL amenities that will make your stay very comfortable (e.g: grill, towels, kitchen utensils) -multiple bathrooms with showers. -safe neighborhood and quiet - there are kayaks and safety devices that you can use and WILL make your time much more fun and enjoyable. Overall, i will recommend because the setting was beautiful and very convenient for my family to be together and have a great time. Memories will be cherished forever.

Lovely Spot on the Water
We spent a few days there in mid-January. The Villa is on a nice sandy beach and the Jauca Bay is very pretty. The first day the waters were calm and great for kayaking and swimming; the second day the winds and waves picked up and the windsurfers and kite surfers came out. The property has most things operating and clean. We could not open the sliding glass doors that look out to the ocean on the first floor. We were only five people, but there are a lot of beds so for a large group this would be a great value. The weather was sunny and warm, and the Villa is large and comfortable with excellent air conditioning in the bedrooms. We did not use the laundry. They could use a few more kitchen items, but all-in-all, everything was good, and the property is very well located.

This location is one hour and thirty minutes from the airport It’s very unsecured and not inviting.
My family and friends rented this property for my 43rd birthday. I was literally in Puerto Rico and hadn’t heard from anyone regarding the check in process. When i finally did, i was told that it would take until 6 pm for the housekeeper to clean the property. Mind you i asked if we could check in around 2 pm two days before arrival. The housekeeper finished a little early so we definitely were excited about that. When we got to the property the GPS takes us down this dark rode with speed bumps where there are several dogs and cats laying in the rode. We get to the property and the grass in front of the house isn’t cut, the gate is heavy but the grass not being cut makes it harder to open and close. There’s trees in the back of the property that are covering the benches that you can sit on near the water. On the other side Of that are broken branches and more trees that have cluttered up the place that we could sit on the beach. We had to use the other property next door to enter the water which didn’t make it inviting. Sitting out on the balcony to see the wonderful view is quickly ruined by the flying insects that are constant. The only way to get away is to go back in the house. In the morning the view is beautiful but the sun beating down makes it very uncomfortable. There’s a cat on the property that tries to come in the house daily and never leaves thus not being able to open the downstairs sliding door or being able to sit outside downstairs. No fan in the entire house so while sitting in the kitchen or cooking it is unbearable and there were times we had to keep going in the room to get some cool air. My overall experience was not good at all. I’m trying to keep a it’s not that bad approach with my guess but one of my guest who actually lives 2 hours away had to bring a fan from her house to make it somewhat comfortable. Not being able enjoy the view or the beach was a let down. The cat situation also made it an unpleasant stay. Not feeling secure even when looking the gate. It was just an unpleasant experience

Villa del Sol Wedding
This property is beautiful and very well maintained. The property manager is excellent and honest. There was a small communication issue with the rental agreement but everything was resolved promptly by the property manager. The listing lists flexible checkin and checkout but I was told to check in at 3pm and checkout at 11am. However, the property manager allowed us to check in a few hours earlier because we had to set up for an event. We had a wedding at this property and all the guests loved it. Our stay was excellent and we would rent this property again in a heartbeat!

Puerto Rico Vacation
Let me start off by saying that the communication with the property manager was great and the home accommodated my family and I. However, the cameras on the property (specifically, in the living room) made me very uncomfortable. I constantly felt as if we were being watched or if I had something to worry about. I understand that homes In Puerto Rico are a bit run down in comparison to homes in the continental US. However, there were always critters in the house and eating or cooking in the house was unsatisfactory. Although the owner provides amazing water equipment such as kayaks, boards, life vests, etc., the beach behind the home is not as visually appetizing as depicted on its website. The surrounding shore line and waters are very dirty and made it less ideal to take the family out on the water. Additionally, many of the lights bulbs in the home were burnt out and constantly had to navigate or shower in the dark; nor was the hot water working. Lastly, the vacation home team constantly reminds its customers to turn off the A/C and fans to save the owner from high local electricity expenses. I always made sure to do so. However, coming back to a hot home while on vacation and traveling throughout the island is less than ideal, and I feel like it is not my responsibility to ensure the owner saves on electricity costs. Overall, the home is perfect for accommodating large groups, but the ad is a bit misleading.

Perfect home for a larger group
Plenty of room for a large group. We had 9 people in our group and had no space issues. House was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We had to hunt between the two kitchens to find all the right pots and pans...etc, but they were all there. Air conditioning in all of the bedrooms worked well. We had some issues with the hot water, but the cool showers in the evenings weren't too bad after a long day in the heat. As others have stated, the beach in the back is not so great for swimming, but the view and the sound of the waves made up for that. The back patio area was perfect for visiting and having a drink in the evenings. We had no issues with bugs in the house during our stay. Richard and the property mgmt company were very responsive to any questions we had.

Great view from balcony upstairs
We had a very relaxing stay about 2 weeks ago. The house is very well maintained, location is excellent, right on the beach. The beach is excellent for windsurfing and kite boarding, the wind seems to be infinite! Also for kayak or SUP when the wind subsides. The view from the 2nd floor balcony is simply amazing, specially at dusk. We had an unforgettable time and will definitely go back!

A view to die for!!
This property is in a residential area; quite secluded from the hustle of town, but not too far of a drive to get to town. The back yard opens up to the water, although there is not much as far as a typical beach, it does have a sandy access and beautiful palms. We were able to sit out on chairs and watch the waves. Kayaks were on-site for us to use. There is a small veranda that overlooks the water. The view really is incredible! The house is separated to be used as separate living spaces with full kitchens both upstairs and down. We rented the entire house for 9 days. The rooms are spacious with A/C in each. There is a television downstairs in the main living room. The decor is homey, appliances are provided - including a washer and dryer. The host, Richard, is very friendly and accomodating. We had rented the home in August, prior to the onslaught of devastating hurricanes that hit Puerto Rico. He stayed in communication with us regarding the condition of the property so that there no surprises. The home was in great condition by the time we arrived in January. He met us at the home to walk us through and even provided us a list of local restaurants. He was available by text if we had needed anything during our stay. We will most likely try to get this property when we return next year. It was a lovely little home away from home while we did what we could on the island to help it recover from the storms.
