Unacceptable & disappointed
We go away as a group of six every year. This year there were so many issues it spoilt our time in Can Picafort - Villa number 3
Drain - horrific smell in downstairs bedroom
Outside tiles - broken/ dangerous
Sun bed - broken
Two seater outdoor sofas & table - all cracked
Outside seating area - poor condition, dirty and soaking wet on arrival, took two days to dry this out, but still had to cover it as it was so dirty & split
first floor veranda - area is not clean and has not been cleaned for sometime
Umbrella stand - broken and left to the side
BBQ - dirty, couldn’t use this
Found two wasps nests in the umbrella and then in the canopy - had to leave villa for one day due to wasps
Pool - was dirty on one side on arrival
Ironing board - badly damaged, this has obviously been previously burnt
Iron - covered in melted ironing board
Towels - most are in poor condition & some are threadbare
Neighbour at number 4 - complained about our group of woman (50+) making too much noise. We were laughing at 8.30pm, having fun. He shouted again just before midnight, shining a light into our Villa threatening us with the police. Made us very uncomfortable and vulnerable. This was unnecessary & unfair, considering the local hotel had music blaring the next night until 11pm.
All of this shared with host Elena, with photos. She was responsive while we were there & cleared wasps/drain. We have requested a partial refund for the issues raised but had no response as yet.
