Villa Damar is located in Son Bauló, the residential district in Can Picafort. It is about 500 m. from the sea, not far from the center. The closest beach is Son Bauló Beach. There is a children's playground about 200m. away. It is an elegant chalet for 10 people, classic Mallorcan style. On the ground floor, there is the entrance first, from which the staircase leading to the upper floor starts. The kitchen is fully equipped. It has a fireplace, for the cold winters and a dining table with an exit to the back of the garden where there is another table for meals under the warm winter sun or al fresco dinners on the warm summer nights. The living room is very spacious with comfortable sofas, from there you can access the terrace and the pool. On the same floor, there are also 3 of the 5 bedrooms of the house. Two of them doubles with 2 single beds of 90 cm. and a third, the main one, with a 150 cm double bed, a bathroom en suite with a bathtub. Direct access to the terrace and the pool. Complete the distribution of this floor with a bathroom with a bathtub. The upper floor houses the third bathroom of the house and 2 double bedrooms: one double with 2 beds of 90 cm. and the second, more youthful air, with 2 beds of 90 cm. Both lead to a beautiful terrace overlooking a pine forest. The whole house is surrounded by terraces and garden areas, whose epicenter is its fabulous fenced pool of 8m x 5m with a little effect for relaxation. Apart from loungers and armchairs, there is another table covered by an automatic awning, which makes this area a cool and very pleasant place for meals and to fight the heat during the day. Can anyone imagine a vacation without a barbecue? In Villa Damar you can organize whatever you want in an area specially prepared for the grill. Electricity consumption and tourist tax are not included and we will ask you to leave a deposit of €200. We will note the electric meter upon arrival and departure and calculate the consumption that will be deducted from the deposit. The rest will be returned by bank transfer in a maximum of 7 business days.
The Parliament of the Balearic Islands approved law 2/2016, of March 30, which creates a tax on tourist stays in the Balearic Islands. Since July 2016, a tourist tax has been charged in the Balearic Islands, as has been done in other destinations in Europe. In the Balearic Islands, it is known as ecotax or tourist tax, tourists must pay and, as a general rule, the money is used to finance tourist infrastructure. For tourist vacation homes, a rate of €2.20/day from May to October and €0.55/day from November to April applies, for people over 16 years of age. This payment is mandatory and will be collected on-site upon arrival.
