All the staff were very friendly and helpful and everywhere was kept very clean. It would have been nice if food was served in the evenings, but overall very pleased with our choice and would stay here again.

Anniversary Trip
Me and wife came here for our 20th wedding anniversary. The hotel is lovely and so is the area. It's very clean and the staff are really helpful. A big thank you to Laura who looked after us whilst we sat in the sun, bringing us drinks and snacks. A thank you to the reception staff for allowing us to keep our room longer as we had a late flight home. We loved our holiday and would recommend this hotel to everyone..

Just spent a very nice week at La Funtana hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable, clean room. Lovely powerful shower. Loved the pool. Breakfast buffet was fantastic. Location is a little out of town which means it is quiet but still easy walking distance to the beach, bars and restaurants of Santa Teresa di Gallura and also to the port where you can take boat tours. Would definitely recommend as a great place to stay.

The hotel has a walking distance to the city centre, close to the supermarkets, restaurants and the beach (max 20mins walk). The room is with a decent size, no tea/coffee machine in the room, nor a small table. Limited space to hang your clothes. Old mini-fridge, no complementary water. Hotel offers light meal with additional pay; no option to have your own food on the table near the pool. Kind of pricey for what is offered.

La Funtana was a very nice hotel. Sitting by the pool was enjoyable for a drink, breakfast, etc. The hotel is a short distance outside the city center, which was great for us as it was an easy drive to dinner places but was not in a crowded area. We went to Santa Teresa on our driving tour around Sardinia because my husband wanted to see the Roman quarry. I wasn't that impressed with the quarry. If I had it to do over, I wouldn't go to this area, but not because of the hotel. The hotel was fine. There are other things to do in the area, especially beaches.

This hotel has a great location and is very comfortable. Also has a great breakfast included and one of the best dinner restaurants in the area. Bedrooms are spacious and well kept. Highly recommended!

We had a big well furnished and quiet room with A/C, a good bed and a big bathroom. Breakfast buffet was good and the pool was the best on this trip so far. Location was a short walk to the ferries but slightly longer walk to the local beach beyond the main square (about 2.0 km). Supermarket across the street was handy. Lobby/bar area was large and tastefully decorated with interesting antique family photos. Staff were always available, friendly and helpful.

Enjoyable stay at La Funtana. Staff were helpful and very polite. My request to upgrade to a room with a balcony was promptly dealt with. The hotel was very clean, towels were plentiful and bed linen sparklingly white. The pool area was pleasant with close access to the bar. La Funtana is just under 10 mins walk from the town centre but there are shops and bars along the way so is not isolated. Do not be put off by the initial impression as it is on a main, unattractive road. Only slight whinge is yet again only English tv channels were News channels., however tv not missed at all. We're here on B & B basis but didn't have breakfast which staff were very concerned about , which was nice. A great stat overall

We enjoyed our stay, hotel staff was nice, room was super clean (the sheets are even sanitized in a special way there is a paper in the room explaining the process I thought was a nice touch). my concern about the mattress being super hard was addressed by the front desk immediately they even offered to change it. I didn't because I ended up getting used to it and didn't want to trouble them but it was nice that they offered to do something. the breakfast included at the resto was nice, especially the fresh ricotta cheese with honey... delicious. the pool is really nice, the parking is convenient and easy. Overall lovely stay would go back. the town is lovely, the beach rena blanca is one of the nicest in the area. I recommend this place any time!

Our room was simple but fine for what we needed, our only issue was a very loud generator noise happening right outside our door all day every day - although we were lucky and it was turned off at night.

A pleasant hotel, very clean and well run. The breakfast was a little disappointing due to the coffee and juice coming from a dispenser. Staff were friendly and helpful. Situated conveniently for the supermarket, 10 minute stroll into the town centre or down to the harbour. Beautiful beaches just a short drive away.

Great hotel
A great hotel which was perfect for our first 3 nights in Sardinia. We enjoyed a leisurely 10-15 min walk each evening into the town where there are bars and restaurants and a piazza to people watch. The hotel had a very good selection at breakfast with cereals, eggs, bacon, pastries, fruit and ham, cheese etc. The rooms were cleaned every day and our towels changed. We had a large balcony (not sure if all the rooms do). Pool is large and there were always beds. Great beaches if you drive east or west. The supermarket opposite was vety useful for lunch supplies for our day trips. A fridge in the room was also handy. A great stay!

Very nice hotel- lovely stay
Lovely staff in the restaurant- lovely rooms- recommend top floor with balcony- there is a lift. good base to explore the beaches of the east and west coast- only problem: we had booked a room with a balcony but on arrival we were told that we had booked a room without balcony- called Expedia cost us a fortune and time to have it solved. Problem was that the advert on Expedia's website was wrong. Eventually got the balcony though! I would recommend to phone the hotel after reserving to ensure everything matches.
