“GEM” at Barefoot Bungalows is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath, fully furnished villa just minute walk to the beach! This 1945 Triplex beach cottage offers the comforts of home with the location of a beach getaway. “Gem” is located on the second floor with stairs to the unit. Gem has a large balcony with a sliver of a view and an exterior table with 4 chairs on balcony. The master bedroom has a king bed with glass sliding doors to balcony and 2nd bedroom has a queen bed. This this two bedroom villa can sleep 4 . There is a small breakfast table with 2 chairs and a kitchen bar with 3 stools. Flat Screen TV, Wifi and large shower/tub bathroom. The full kitchen is stocked with appliances, and dishware for 6 guests. The full kitchen includes a standard fridge, full stove/oven, microwave, Keurig Coffee maker, and cooking utensils for 6. No dishwasher in GEM. Dishware / cooking pots/pans provided for the days you plan to dine in. Simple and beachy theme with all the basic comforts of home. All linens provided along with plush towels plus extra, as needed, by request. Welcome toiletries to include paper towels, toilet paper, soap, shampoo, dish liquid, sponge, kitchen towel, trash liners, and lotion. Clean and Comfy. Lots of lil amenities added.

There are stairs to the unit in the back of complex and its the entire second floor. No car needed as Beach Access #3 located to the right and beach access #2 located to left (both just few steps away). For your beach needs, 4 beach chairs and 4 beach towels will be provided. Spend a week or reserve a month and you won’t be disappointed. Park BBQ grill added to the complex and each unit has exterior seating. Complex does have a courtesy washer/dryer located on the first level by walkway at no charge for easy use for all guests. Keyless entry and concierge service to handle most requests. Parking spot is marked and one vehicle per unit. (2 small cars if tandem parked is allowed) Pictures updated July 2024. Siesta Key Village is walking distance 2 blocks from the door. Recently added 10 foot privacy wall to extend more privacy and quiet throughout the property. We are snuggled between newer buildings and yet extremely close to the beach for the value price per night. Full 2 bedroom 1 bath home great for 14 night stays or longer during off season.

This 1945 Triplex - Barefoot Bungalows offers a such great value with a location so close to the beach. Walk to the Village and to the beach and no car is needed for short 3-5 day trips.

Washer / Dryer located on first floor for complex and no charge for guest.

Beach chairs, Beach Wagon, Umbrella, Beach Towels and even few beach toys for the kiddos to enjoy!

This property is in a perfect location being very close to the beach as well as the village. Lisa was very responsive to all of our questions and requests. She does a wonderful job of ensuring that you have all that you need including adding very special touches such as fresh flowers. The unit is very dated but served it's purpose. There is a musty, mildew scent and some of the floor stick on vinyl tiles are starting to come up likely from the recent hurricanes. The only "concern" we had was that the wooden stair case that you use to get to the unit is a little shaky and needs to be secured better so that it feels strong and solid. All in all, we'd rent this unit again.

Great communication with Lisa before and during the stay. Location is right beside public beach access as described. Beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, and wagon/cart were provided. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Located a few minute walk away from multiple bars and restaurants. Sufficient parking for 2 normal sized vehicles. Great for 2 couples or a small friend group. If i return to Siesta Key, I would stay here again.

The two bedroom bungalow was very homie, had everything ready for our stay. Is a little old of a place but the up keep and decor made it feel like you were home. We had a pretty good storm while there and the property manager was in contact with us the whole time was very much appreciated. Would definitely stay here again. Very close to the water and just a block away from the village. Loved our stay.

GEM is a gem!
This is the third or fourth time we have stayed in GEM and love it every time. The proximity to the beach and the village for restaurants, shopping and entertainment is everything you could possibly want when visiting Siesta Key! You do not need a car when staying here. Everything is extremely walkable and if you don’t want to walk, there are plenty of free transportation options! GEM is very clean, well stocked, all beach supplies you need, and Lisa is extremely responsive for any questions! We will definitely be staying here again for our next trip to Siesta Key!

Property was as advertised and we were happy with the location. Only issue was location of next door property and the loudness of their gatherings on 3 occasions. I had to call sheriff 3 occasions to go and ask them to lower voices directly under our bedroom windows at 1:20 AM being the latest. Our host Lisa was very responsive and helpful.

We have not a bad thing to say about our stay. Lisa did everything and more to make us feel welcome. When you walk in to a bouquet of flower, box of candy, someone cares. The pictures are just what you have to make your trip enjoyable. Kitchen has a variety of pots and pan. Nice supply of bathroom towels, beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, wagon. We liked it so much that after 2 days I rebooked for 2025!

We were concerned about wifi before renting because we work part of the day. Lisa reassured us that she has a hotspot that is in all of her condos for us to use. That worked great during our stay and we didn't have any issues. The condo is well setup and so conveniently located. It is very close to the beach and town. We walked to all restaurants that we ate at. We would definitely stay here again and have told friends about this great condo.

Another fabulous stay! The condo is cute, clean and extremely well appointed! You will want for nothing!!! Tons of towels, beach chairs, kitchen and bathroom needs. Comfy beds as well! We just love the location. No fighting with beach or restaurant parking which can be a real nightmare. 2 second walk to grocery, boutique stores, coffee shops and restaurants as well as the best beach in the USA.
