Casa la Vida Soñada “the dream life” is a beautiful home with 6000 sq feet of indoor/outdoor living area.

The covered entry leads to dramatic great room with fully equipped gourmet kitchen, opening to the private infinity edge pool with an amazing view of Coco Bay. Lounge on one of the many chaise lounges, revel in the pool, play on the outdoor pool table or enjoy the company of friends at the swim-up pool bar.

This five-bedroom, six-bathroom home features a stunning array of indoor and outdoor living spaces.

Four of the bedrooms feature king beds, en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning, large patios, and incredible ocean views. The fifth bedroom is a kid nook, with air conditioning, triple bunk-bed and futon. There is an additional queen murphy bed located in the great room. Accommodation for up to 10 adults and 2 children.
Next to the pool you can grill your catch of the day in the outdoor kitchen and BBQ area, rinse off in the outdoor shower after a dip in the pool or dine in the open-air gazing on the fabulous sunsets over the Pacific Ocean.

Family Spring Break

Our family of 8 had an amazing time. We all like to lounge in the sun so when I inquired about there only being 4 sun chairs, they went and purchased 4 more prior to our arrival. We did have an issue with the water pressure one day but after a text to the house manager he was there in 30 min and fixed the issue. The view from this house never got old. We felt so secluded but yet just a 4 min golf cart ride into town. I highly recommend the chef. 2 staff stayed for lunch and dinner and served us drinks in between. Also highly recommend The Lookout restaurant close by. Beautiful house in a great location!

Best Rental We've Had!

We had high expectations for this rental based on all of the reviews and the posting, and nothing fell short of our expectations. The property manager, Al, was beyond helpful and kind with all of our inquiries. The house is beautiful and exactly as pictured. The beds were so comfortable that finding rest after a full day was easy. We used the kids room for our 3 boys in the family and at first they felt unhappy when comparing the size of it to the master bedrooms, but after a few hours and the realization of a quiet, dark room that was away from the adults, they loved it. The pool was great, and the howler monkeys who came to visit outside the property were fun and entertaining. We would definitely recommend!

From the moment we arrived at this stunning home, we were in awe of the beautiful design, open spaces and thoughtful details that made our first trip to CR so special. The house is incredibly spacious, offering plenty of room for our whole family to spread out and relax. Multiple patios and seating areas provided the perfect spots to enjoy our morning coffee with the birds, dine outside and take in breathtaking views or simply unwind after a day of exploring. Inside, the home is just as impressive. The bathrooms were stunning, with high-end finishes that made every shower feel like a spa experience. I noticed in previous reviews that the comfortable beds were mentioned … and everyone was right!! So comfy!! The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. And the pool was a favorite for everyone! Whether we were swimming or lounging in the sun, it truly made the trip extra special. The location was also ideal—peaceful and private in a gated community, yet close to everything we wanted to see and do. A special shoutout to Al, the property manager, who was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Any concerns we had were addressed quickly, making our experience smooth and stress-free. We also highly recommend the chef services! Having delicious, professionally prepared meals and beverages made our trip even more relaxing and enjoyable. This home provided the perfect backdrop for making lifelong family memories. Spectacular home!

We had 9 adults at this home for a week. The home is beautiful. We rented golf carts from Theo and took advantage of the location of the house and its accessibility to many restaurants and grocery stores. We had Chef Marcos and bartender Manuel for one day. I would recommend doing that at least one day. The food and service were amazing (but the chef is a bit messy). We look forward to returning to this property sometime! Property Manager Al made sure we had everything we needed.

Paradise!

Our party of 9 adults really enjoyed our stay at Casa La Vida Sonada. The house is gorgeous and very well equipped with everything you need. There is plenty of room both inside and out to accommodate a large party. The views of Coco bay were breathtaking and the location was ideal for quiet relaxation, but only a short golf cart away to the beaches and restaurants. The property managers, Al and Tammy, were very helpful in making arrangement before our trip, and were also very responsive and helpful when we needed them during our trip. We would definitely go back.

Beautiful family vacation

We have been blessed to vacation in many places, and its rare to have a property exceed your expectations. The house is exactly as described - spacious, thoughtfully designed and well equipped with all that is needed to cook and entertain. The bedrooms provided an amazing view while ensuring privacy for all guests, and the comfort of the beds (often overlooked even in luxury properties) rivaled that of our one at home. Communication with Al, the property manager was easy and ensured that all our needs and questions were responded to promptly. He also provided excellent suggestions for tours and restaurants as well as local sites. We would highly recommend the home.

Nov/Dec Stay

This house accommodated our family of 6 (21-74yrs), everyone had their own space at the same time we had plenty of space to be together outside and inside. The house is beautiful, well maintained, view of the ocean is wonderful and although you can hear the roosters and dogs while outside you are far enough away that it’s nothing that impacts your stay. We rented 2 golf carts and a rental car, this allowed us easy access to Coco via golf cart (way easier to park them in the busy streets of Coco) the car was well used to do our big grocery runs at Walmart and PriceSmart. A few things need to be updated for this home details, although it was advertised we didn’t have access to the Coco Beach Club or Ocotal Beach Club, which was disappointing to find out after we tried to go into the Club. Also, upon arrival we were told the golf carts can’t be taken up to the main door and we’d have to walk up and down the very steep hill, which doesn’t work for my husband with a bad back, my senior Mother or myself waiting for knee replacements. I understand the safety issue with bad breaks and too many people in a cart can be very dangerous, but better communication on this would have made a difference on our booking. We would rent this house again and recommend to any of our friends and family.

My husband and I have stayed in this area five times and explored a variety of rental locations at different price points, but this one is hands down the winner. It's not always easy to find a rental that lives up to its description, but this one exceeds expectations! The floor plan is thoughtfully laid out, each room is bright, clean, and comes with an en suite bathroom. The pool area is gorgeous, and they've equipped it with all the perfect amenities. We will definitely be back!

Amazing stay at Casa la Vida Sonada! Al and the team were fantastic and accommodating. Definitely would recommend staying here. Everything we could have wanted. The property was exactly as advertised. Clean, well appointed, beautiful views, conveniently located and everything came with detailed and great instructions; including how to book excursions near and far. Al, Francisco and Juan Carlos hooked us up with everything we could have desired with zero hassle and every activity was 5 Star. We had a family of 11 ages 16 months to 65. This home is exactly as described! It had everything that we may have needed! It was clean and beautifully decorated. The view was exceptional! We enjoyed going to the local beach which was black sand. Something I had never seen. We enjoyed Father Roosters just as recommended! The beds are wonderful. Not too hard or soft. The air conditioner took a day or so to use as recommended but we found after your body acclimates all is need during the day is in the evening and night! I would recommend this home to anyone in any age group!

Beautiful property with amazing view

Our stay was great and communication with the owner and the property manager was excellent. My only comment would be the golf carts were questionable, but the owner has nothing to do with that and it was my decision where to rent them from. Chef Marcus was there daily cooking some delicious food and the bartender stayed after to make daiquiris and frozen drinks that were excellent.

Perfect home for a getaway

We traveled with friends to celebrate a big birthday. This house was perfect for the 4 couples with the 4 large, beautiful master suites. Everyone enjoyed having their own en suite bathroom as well. The pool and deck were so awesome and we spent so much time together out there. The view from the pool is spectacular! Inside, the kitchen and dining area is large and well equipped. We had chef Marcos come twice. I would highly recommend this. He and his crew cooked both lunch and dinner along with making us a midday snack and drinks. The food was delicious and well worth it! The home has inside and outside speakers which were easy to connect to our music to add to our experience. We rented golf carts from Theo which was the thing to do! Al, the property manager, took great care of us, helping with whatever we needed. He was there to meet us when we arrived and also to say goodbye when we left. We really felt taken care of! This home is amazing and we highly recommend staying here.

Adult long weekend getaway with 4 couples. View is as advertised, all master suites so no one got stuck with a bad room. Got to watch monkeys from the pool and 5-10 minutes from beach, fishing boats, grocery store. Opted to have the private chef, the food and drinks were well worth it. We will be back.

Absolutely Amazing!!

6 adults just finished a completely wonderful stay. Gated community so you felt extra safe. The property manager met us at the home to show us around. This home is absolutely beautiful. The pictures dont do it justice. Each king suite was amazing and on each corner of the house so you had plenty of privacy. High end furniture throughout the home. Spotless. Everything you needed in the kitchen to cook whatever you wanted! Infinity pool with an amazing view! Outdoor kitchen, pool table and dart board was an extra special perk. This place is seriously amazing. The property manager went above and beyond to make our stay absolutely wonderful. Couldn"t have asked for better. Our friends got married while we were there. This home and its views made it a perfect place for a wedding and wedding photos. Not to mention we were given some beautiful decorations and champagne from the wonderful property manager. I could go on forever. This place is top notch! I will 100% be back!

Amazing house with an even more amazing view.

Our family of 6 adults spent a week at this gorgeous house. It was everything the listing said and more. Spacious, well furnished and decorated rooms. Amazing views of the ocean and a fantastic pool to cool off in. Al and Tammy were great before and during check-in and Juan Carlos took great care of us for the rest of our stay. Highly recommend the chef and massage services.

The property is as advertised and then some! Beautiful views and great location. Amenities were fantastic, as well. Would definitely recommend!

5 Stars Without a Doubt!

This place is absolutely amazing, inside and out. It has the most beautiful views from every room, including the closets. They provide everything you could possibly need for your stay (even hair diffusers for those of us with curly hair!) and our group ranged in age from 8 to 76. Every room was spacious, clean and comfortable. There was a smaller room with a triple bunk bed that our kids loved hanging out in as well. 5 stars also for the property managers, Tammy & Al McEwan, and the tour operator, Juan Carlos, who were all quick to respond to any inquiries we had before and during our stay. They made booking everything easy - airport shuttle transfers, excursions, golf carts, chef, massages, etc. We will return!

Great place and location for a awesome Costa Rica relaxing vacation

Stayed for 5 nights with wife and two older kids (late teens) and this place was perfect. 4 separate master e suites ensured everyone had their own personal space when they wanted to take a nap or just have some peace and quiet. The common areas were large and comfortable. Backyard was pristine with an awesome pool and great view of the bay. Also attracted a lot of beautiful birds. The property managers take this listing to the next level. Al and Tammy met us in person for check in and check out, super easy to get a hold of and had great recommendations. We had a couple issues with wifi (out of their control as it was an entire community issue) but Al was on it and kept us updated the entire time. Celebrating our wedding anniversary so Al and Tammy met us with flowers and mimosas on the day we arrived as a nice surprise. They also got us in touch with Juan Carlos who we hired a personal chef for arrival day (lunch and dinner) which was excellent and did two tours (action and rainforest) with Juan Carlos. Our guide was Geno who was wonderful and very accommodating and now FB friends! Al also recommended we just use Juan Carlos for airport and rent a golf cart for getting around the area which was excellent choice. Cheaper than car rental and less fuss. Would highly recommend this property as the house has everything you need and you have access to the club house around the corner with its gym, pool pickle ball and great restaurant.
