Bella Haven ("beautiful refuge") is a favourite getaway for many Saturna visitors.
A bright and airy beach house set on a picturesque half-acre, adjacent to our home.
Overlooking Lyall Harbour, you will have front row seats to spectacular summer sunsets and the ever-changing vista year-round.

It's perfect for one or two people looking to experience the uniqueness of Saturna Island and the beauty of the seasons in the Southern Gulf Islands.
Saturna is one of the premiere land-based whale watching locations in the Gulf Islands.

We have sought to equip Bella Haven to a high standard and to anticipate your needs for a memorable stay.
The open-plan living space features:

Beautiful place with an amazing view!
We very much enjoyed our stay at Bella Haven and highly recommend it to others. The accommodations had everything we needed, was very comfortable and well-supplied. Beautiful outdoor areas with the patio and surrounding garden, and the seating area out by the water. The location is amazing being right on the water with great sunset views, it was a perfect place to launch our kayak from. Sue, Rob, Dudley and Angus were all super-friendly and a pleasure to meet. We hope to come back again in the future!

Excellent cabin! Perfect for us! Everything you need and more! Very well looked after, decorated very nice, comfortable king size bed. Beautiful cove with fantastic sunsets. The island had very interesting site seeing and hikes. Sue and Rob are very welcoming and helpful. Dudley is sweet!

Beautiful setting for watching the spectacular sunset beyond the bay. With a glass of local wine. Super-helpful hosts. The cottage is fitted out to perfection, from the elegant crockery to the warm throw to the make-up flannel to the information folder. Highly recommended.

A Home Away From Home!
Staying at Bella Haven on Saturna was wonderful! Both the accommodation and attention to detail was excellent. It is a clean, well equipped, organized cozy cottage with a great view over looking Lyall Harbour. Our hosts, Sue and Rob were welcoming, friendly, generous and very easy to communicate with. Beyond amazing in all respects
This was, hands down, the best rental experience I have had. First, the apartment was absolutely perfect. Clean, beautiful construction, gorgeous douglas fir counters and white cabinetry, comfortable couch and chair, a fireplace, a large kitchen table and perfect bathroom with lots of towels. On top of having lots of space in the apartment, there is a good sized deck with a table and chairs and two comfortable Adirondack-style chairs. There were also 4 chairs in the yard close to the shore. Second, there are a lot of windows looking out over the ocean. You are RIGHT THERE, on the ocean and you see it from the bedroom and living room and deck! The days were long so we went to sleep with the red and orange of the setting sun over the mountains and ocean. Third, Sue and Rob were about the best hosts there ever could be. They were there when you needed something and totally careful of your space when you were busy. They are absolutely lovely people!!! Finally, Saturna Island is stunningly beautiful. It is smaller and quieter than some Gulf Islands which is its beauty. We were busy for 7 days taking every walk on the map, visiting all the sights and still we didn't get everything done (missed the Winery). It took two ferries to get there but it was a breeze since you just drive off one ferry directly onto the next--all coordinated, no wait, very easy. And...the ferry ride is part of the vacation with great views of all the islands and the snow-capped peaks.)

A lovely little getaway with accommodating hosts!
The location met and exceeded our expectations based on the online listing. There were so many little details in the suite that made our stay even more enjoyable. The hosts, Sue and Rob, were very friendly and accommodating. There is beach access directly beside the property. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Beautifully done cottage a very short drive from the ferry. On the ocean and next door to the owners who are really nice thoughtful people. You may also want to adopt their dog!

Weekend on Saturna
We had previously spent alot of time on the island - this was our first trip back in 15 yrs. Rob & Sue have built an amazing home and property that we were fortunate enough share with them. As first guests - we told them they did a wonderful job and created a truly special experience for any couples who want to experience Saturna and enjoy the evenings while having access to all amenities you may require. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Rob and Sue - we will be back for a longer stay and look forward to staying in touch with them. Those Adirondack chairs overlooking Lyall Harbour at sunset; bald eagles, and Dudley (our resident Golden Retriever).... no complaints.
