Bad luck for the 2nd half
Tale of 2 stays. The first 3 nights had no issues and cool nights allowed comfortable sleeping for my group of friends and me. Plenty of space for trucks and trailers we had for a race weekend. Sue is very friendly and accommodating. The last 3 nights were not as good. We had an insect issue that Sue at least tried to provide a reasonable work around for but I came out of that with a lot of bug bites. After that, it warmed up outside and we found that the AC didn't work. Unfortunately the AC unit wasn't the only thing blowing hot air. Stan came by and attempted to gaslight me into thinking it was actually "cold as heck." Sue managed to stay honest, but this experience left us feeling pretty negatively. A moment of dishonesty can erase any good faith established. We got a hotel for that 5th night of 6 and went home a day early. I regret scheduling the last 3 of 6 nights and spending any money toward that uncomfortable portion of the trip. I certainly overpaid for bug bites and no AC. But, I think if you have better luck, I can understand having a positive experience. But, I wouldn't go back.

We loved our stay here! Everything was super clean. I was also very pleased with having condiments in the fridge! That was great so you didn’t have to buy them when you’re not gonna use it all for your stay! And the horses were gorgeous!

Perfect spot for night sky views!
3 co-workers and I were in town to do some construction work at the Sault and Pickford and used this location as our home base. Susan was an absolute pleasure to work with and the property was better than than advertised with absolutely amazing views of the night sky and picturesque day time beauty. We especially found the deck patio fantastic!

I cannot say enough good things about this home. It was so clean and comfortable. We were there to attend a funeral. Waking up in the morning and seeing the horses in the backyard and the calmness on a country road is just what we needed to say goodbye to our family member. I would highly recommend. They even let us check in early and check out late due to the Mackinac bridge closing for a few hours. Thank you so much for everything. We know our go to place when we visit. Thank you!

Hosts makes an very welcoming enjoyable home to stay. I highly recommend this home if you are in the Sault St. Marie area. House is clean, beds are comfortable, the horses out back are an enjoyable diversion… high marks.

Peaceful Country Home
Our friend group, 3 couples, stayed for a long weekend and really enjoyed this house. Very clean, modern, and the host was great to work with. Very easy check in, check out process. Fun to feed the horses! The only downside was not all 3 rooms had a full or larger mattress size. Otherwise, plenty of space and great living room/kitchen to socialize in. Just a great stay! We would definitely stay again!

Wonderful Property
Wonderful property suited well for our larger group. Very clean and comfortable house! Beautiful scenery to enjoy a cup of coffee on the porch in the mornings. Susan was excellent and very accommodating when we needed something. Will definitely be returning!

Wonderful country getaway!
This place was exactly what we were hoping for - with two older adults with mobility issues, the single-level arrangement was perfect. We enjoyed the beautiful outdoor spaces, including a spacious lawn and comfortable deck. Indoors was just as comfortable - spotlessly clean, well-stocked with amenities and great for family fun together. Sue and Stan were welcoming, friendly, and helpful with tips to explore the local area. We're so glad we stayed here - thank you for a wonderful time!

Wonderful place to stay !
House was very comfortable and super clean. Stocked with everything you might need. Hosts were very responsive to any questions that we had. Great location. Very short drive into Sault St. Marie and all the sights. Perfect if you're visiting a student at Lake Superior State University !

Comfy getaway
My husband and our two kids stayed at this comfy getaway that is about a 45 minute/hour drive from so many fun excursions. We really enjoyed our time in this cozy house. Our hosts could not have been nicer. We loved waking up to see their horses and the kids loved feeding them carrots. We saw many birds while staying including sand hill cranes right outside our window! The garage had so many things we could use to enhance our stay from a corn hole game to skewers for s’mores. My one minor suggestion: the master bedroom could use a fan. It gets a little stuffy at night. Highly recommend this sweet house!
