Hide Away, Peaceful, Cozy cabin

Leave your worries behind and join Sasquatch at his HideOut. Take in the great views to the north from the large deck and enjoy dinner on the deck in the screened-in area. Quiet, easy living, snoozing on the deck then dining and grilling outside is the plan for the day.
Inside the cozy cabin offers 2 bedrooms, each with king-size beds. 2 baths, and an open living area all on one level. The bedrooms and baths are on opposite sides of the living area to give lots of privacy to all. Each bathroom has been renovated with a tiled walk-in shower.
Gather together by the wood-burning stove in the cooler months while sharing in food preparations in the well-equipped kitchen. Fiber internet for all your devices and a streaming TV to watch a game, or listen to your favorite tunes. In warmer months enjoy the coolness of the cabin with the sunny days just outside the door.
Sasquatch welcomes all, whether it is a romantic getaway for two. A besties couple's getaway, or a family gathering. Sassy Q says “come on! Enjoy, relax, connect, and hide out with me for a while”.
Sasquatch HideOut is minutes from many wineries and breweries. Some wine tours will pick up your group at the cabin, or nearby. Ask for details.
Easy drive to the Alpine town of Helen, GA. Great hiking trails, kayak input just a few miles down the road, and world-renown trout fishing are around the corner. HideOut in the beautiful North Georgia mountains with many conveniences minutes away.

We have stayed in the Pigeon Forge area of TN multiple times. Same cabin each time because a friend owns it and when it’s not rented, we can stay…free! It is up steep grades, around KYA curves, and roller coaster down slopes. Not so here! We were conveniently located within 1/2 mile of the main road…easy access! The biggest drawback is the driveway but if you’re a good driver, no problem. What drew us to the property was the to-die-for decking and screen porches. The two bathrooms were a plus, but we looked forward to sitting on the deck looking out over the mountains and watching the wildlife and birds. Did not happen. Two squirrels, a Carolina wren, two cardinals and two pairs of Brown Thrashers was all we saw. We spent a lot of time exploring the area. We were in Clarksville more than Helen. Wonderful restaurants. Bottom line is we enjoyed the house and the area. Oh…and it helped that Louise is super to work with.

We loved the cabin! We spent most of our time in the deck, enjoying the view and sounds of the birds. It was a great place to get away, reconnect with friends, and unwind. It was close to the wedding site for which we travelled. Would love to return.

Such a great easy experience. The place is set up perfectly for privacy and still a warm welcoming living room. The view is amazing. Great communication with owners. We loved having coffe overlooking the valley. I would highly recommend this place for a great getaway!

Perfect Mountain Retreat
Great property in a perfect location! My husband and I visited with our two dogs and it was excellent! There are neighbors, but you can't see anyone and it is a very quiet neighborhood overall. Serenity Cellars winery is literally walking distance. Near Helen (and just far enough way for the peace and quiet) and many hiking options. Hosts are absolutely wonderful. Amazing views, perfect for evening wine and relaxation, or afternoon reading on the deck. We would definitely stay here again.

First of all, Louise was an amazing host! The property was beautiful and spacious and looked just like the pictures. Louise provided us with detailed instructions for the amenities in the house and a list of nearby activities. On our drive up, she even text me to check on our eta, as she had turned on the heat for us. We went to wine tastings, ate some German cuisine and walked through Helen; however, we also had a great time just sitting on the deck playing games (which were provided) and having drinks. The grill and firepit came in handy too. The guys were able to watch the Super Bowl uninterrupted, and we cooked party food. Truly a home away from home vibe.We had an awesome time!! I definitely want to go back...actually hated to leave...so til next Sasquatch.

Very nice and quiet!
Such a cute house! Everything was great and the book she left at the house with things to do and places to eat was very helpful. Came here for a baseball camp, but we ended up getting to walk around Helen and enjoy the changing of the leaves. Property is in a very quiet neighborhood and the views from the porch were fabulous! Highly recommend!

Went above and beyond!
Louise made sure we had a fantastic stay, the cabin was quite clean and well equipped. She even provided a crate for my dog so she felt more safe in the cabin. Would recommend staying here with family and furry friends :)
