Pay the "Pet-Friendly" Pet Fee (OR ELSE!)

Our stay here was generally fine though it was the smallest room among those we stayed in for a comparable price during our trip. Patrice was kind and professional. What rubbed us the wrong way is the "pet friendly" policy in which guests with pets are penalized with a $75 fee despite the fact that the presence of pets have little or no impact on the hotel. After we cleared out, our room required no more effort to clean than if we had not had pets. The fee is just a windfall for the hotel and it's not a good look. People don't enjoy getting fleeced and paying a few for nothing (or else according to the posted policies!!!) doesn't engender goodwill or brand loyalty. The hotel's employees all understand this because they hear the justified complaints on a regular basis. If management is truly concerned about the damage pets may cause, then a security deposit is more fair and appropriate. The "pet fee" is just a scam intended to improve the hotel's bottom line, and it's not a good look.

Great But No Hot Water

This was my second day. I was a little disappointed as I needed to take a shower in the night. I got there and there was no hot water. Just a wee bit of a problem for me.

Booked a hotel stay for my parents. Asked to have my card charged when they arrived at check in as this was a gift for them. Did payment authorization form & confirmed receipt of form with the hotel staff a few days prior. When my parents arrived at the hotel & explained that their daughter had already setup payment they were told this could not be done & that they needed to pay. My parents ended up being charged for the hotel stay. The staff then said it was a mistake & my parents would be refunded the charge. They charged my card the entire amount of $271.84 plus an additional $140. When I called to inquire about the additional $140 charge I was on hold 30 min straight, no check in no nothing. I ended up hanging up and calling back & asked the staff why would you leave someone on hold that long. Her response was she had to attend to customers in front of her. I told her I'm a paying customer too. I asked her what the additional charge was for and she said she did not know and to call back the next day. Called the next day & was told the $140 was an automatic charge for pre registration?? I asked several times why would there be an automatic charge for this as it does not make sense. The manager said it was automatically charged because the card was on file and never gave me more information into why the charge occurred. He said i would be refunded within 3-5 business days. Worst customer service EVER. No communication between shifts or staff.

Overall a good experience but the breakfast was disappointing. The sandwiches were not properly made, cold inside. I stayed for 2 days and the same thing happened. Rooms are clean, easy parking and the location has easy access to I-16.

Great place to stay

I like the location and I like the hotel. I’m not sure how large it is, but it only had three carts to move belongings in and out. So in the morning, I had to wait till one was free. Wasn’t thrilled about the breakfast sandwich. It seemed dried out, but everything else looked great. The room is clean. The halls and carpet were clean. I did find the windows looked like they had some work done on them, which made it suddenly feel older than it was. No coffee in the room, which is OK as I don’tmind going down to get it. I was very happy with it.
