We were very pleased we chose this hotel. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly by the person at the front desk. Since we took an early morning flight, we didn't expect our room to be ready but the employee said she would be happy to store our luggage and notify us as soon as it was. We asked about nearby restaurants & shopping areas. She made several recommendations just steps away from the Inn. A couple of hours later, we got the call that our room was ready. The room was spacious & clean. Just one caveat, if you want your room serviced, you need to let them know in advance at the front desk. Breakfast hours & options are very good; Coffee/Tea is available to guests 24/7. There are several large seating areas in their lovely lobby. In closing, the staff was friendly & courteous throughout our stay. This hotel is situated in the heart of the historic district across from the Savannah River. We highly recommend it! :)

It’s a nice hotel but I asked for a view so I was disappointed when I didn’t receive one. The second disappointment bothered me greatly. I am traveling by myself and I am sSenior Citizen, female and the hotel clerk put me on a floor at the very end of a very long hall, quite a distance from the elevator

Overall was great stay. Had issue with non-working HVAC the first night but that was remedied next day. Hotel concierges (weekday and weekend) were the highlight. Very personable and extremely helpful in setting up transportation and answering questions. Would highly recommend hotel for pet owners.

The location was great, the concierge Marley was fantastic however the hotel itself was average. Our rooms were not ready when we arrived which was expected, however it was an hour later than check in time by the time they were available. The front desk was making excuses that they were full the night before and just recently moved the check in time form 4:00pm to 3:00pm. They also told me they didn't have a room with a king size bed so was two queens ok. I said, no that is not ok. The ultimately found a room with a king sized bed. The breakfast was ok, the wifi was very slow and the TV's were difficult to operate. The TV's were very pixelated and moved in slow motion. We had to restart ours several times just to get different channels and to have it work. Our room keys didn't always work to get into the pool area and that can be irritating when the pool is on floor 7 and you need to get your key reprogrammed.

The service at the front desk was great. This place has a $45 valet. Charge to park your car because of the location in the historic district. A lot of great food choices in walking distance from this hotel. My only complaint was that my shower was lukewarm, and I couldn't control the air conditioning.

Upon checkin there was one staff memeber with a negative attitude. We are Hilton Honors members and because the membership is in my name and the reservation was in husbands name they refused to link the stay. They have always linked for us before since we are married. This was our 4th stay at this property and it was not as previous experiences. On day two of a three day stay, we requested the room to be cleaned in the morning while we were out exploring. Came back 2 hours later, not cleaned. Told front desk still not cleaned. We went to room and rested still no staff to clean or at least offer towels. Left for dinner and told front desk again that room was never cleaned. Same associate at check in said room was cleaned. Assistant GM got involved and confirmed room was not cleaned and that he would take care of it. Had it not been for him, we would have gone without clean room or at least towels. Thank you to him as he was very understanding and apologetic. Again we have never had issues at this property and this was our fourth stay. Other than that, convenient to all historic monuments and River Street.

It was in a perfect location. We could shop the Riverwalk, come back to hotel, leave our goodies, refresh & go to the downtown area & shop or eat. What i didn't like was the amount of homeless people in the squares. Made you a little uncomfortable. Only complaint is the pillows were below standards. They were just too flat. I myself had to use all 4 pillows to sleep comfortably.

Requested their every other day housekeeping but they didn’t respond. The staff was not responsive, nor affable and did not want to rectify issues. I arrived at 2:30pm, Check-In was 3pm, my room was not ready. They took my phone number and said they would call me when it was ready. I toured around for 3 hours, never getting a phone call. I finally called them and they stated they overlooked calling. The morning breakfast was substantial.

The location is perfect for walkability to the river front shops and restaurants. The property was clean. Our room very quiet. No view, but we didn't pay for a view. We parked in the public lot across the street to save the $45 valet fee. That was only mildly inconvenient.

Perfect location as Bay St is parallel to River St, just cross the street and go down stairs and you are there! We stayed in a room on the 3rd that was facing the street and it was loud! If you’re a light sleeper, you might want to stay in the other side.
