Charming hotel right on one of the famous squares. Staff were prompt, courteous and helpful. Valet parking was a nice feature. Lovely wine and cheese spread in the evening with piano entertainment. Room offered plenty of space and the bed was quite comfortable, though a touch high off the floor for us shorter people. Bathroom was clean and spacious and the automatic nightlight was a nice touch. Easy walking distance to restaurants, lounges, shopping and points of interest. I look forward to visit again.

The room is of slightly higher quality than a standard hotel. What set this place apart for us was the service of the staff. From the moment we walked through the door, they were there to assist. I drive a larger than average vehicle, parking is not always simplistic. The gentleman at the door kept vigil on my vehicle until we could locate a spot. If there were any shortcomings with the room or hotel, the staffs service made them unnoticeable. Thank you for a great stay.

Staff was very polite and helpful. The property is clean and well-maintained, and within walkable distance of most the historic district. Parking is adjacent to the property. There were no king-size rooms available, and mattress was not as supportive as I would preferred. We stayed for two nights, but I would need better bed options for a longer stay.

I didn’t get a comfy welcoming feel and even when I relaxed the tv was only working half the time. The room was decently cleaned. I was ok with the staff they seemed more friendly when I was leaving than when I was coming in.

I’ve stayed at The Planter’s Inn about 5-6 times over the last 4-5 years. I go to Savannah several times a year. Great lil hotel. Staff super friendly. Only negative is the four poster beds and mattresses were super squeaky getting in and out of bed! Kinda annoying!

Location of this hotel is perfect. Close to riverwalk and great restaurants! Rooms are clean although dated but the staff, service, and weekly afternoon wine and cheese reception was lovely!

Very noisy. Could hear cars and people screaming in the streets all night with windows closed. Across the street is a parking garage and the sound tunnels through it and amplifies it. Clean and friendly staff but was woken all night both nights of my stay. Also lots of homeless people in park at entrance of hotel.

This is a great property as far as convenience and walk ability. It was very nice that they offered a wine and cheese reception every evening. The staff were helpful and kind. The rooms themselves were looking a little worn and definitely ready for a revamping. I do feel that they were clean and well stocked with toiletries and towels. It was a bit noisy because of construction nearby.

Amazing. Stay here! Lovely wine and cheese reception from 4:30-6. Next door to a must-go restaurant. Sits right on a square and minutes from a ton of shops and other restaurants, plus the river walk. Will definitely stay there again next time.

I have never visited Savannah before. I chose this hotel and was happy that I did. The staff was wonderful and friendly. Happy hour in the lobby was a nice perk & opportunity to visit with the other guests. Highly recommend.

Excellent location, quiet, friendly staff. They arranged our trolley tour and you get $3.00 off for each ticket. Pay for parking by the night but only a few steps away. We did the valet parking for an extra $15 a night and your on the bottom floor. We had windows shades and left an electric bike inside. All was good! Highly recommend.
