Welcome to Kleineicholzheim -
Where fox and moose say good night!
Kleineicholzheim is a district of the municipality Schefflenz in the Neckar Odenwald district.
Our Finnish log house was built in 1999. On the ground floor there is an open area with kitchen and living room with direct access to the covered terrace and the garden, a bathroom / toilet and two bedrooms with a single bed 90 x 200 cm and a bunk bed 90 x 200 cm. In the attic there is a large room with a double bed, 1 single bed and enough space for additional mattresses. There is a small gallery above the living room. 2 people can sleep here. There is a carport, additional parking spaces and a lockable storage room e.g. B. for bicycles.

You have access to the entire house with terrace and garden. An evening small campfire in the garden does not bother small neighbors. There is also a grill fireplace.
FIREWOOD, SAUNA WOOD AND GRILL COAL ARE EXTRA CALCULATED.
You have the house to yourself during the booking period. We, the landlords, live directly opposite and are happy to answer any questions or problems you may have.

Gemütliches Haus und fantastische Vermieter
Wir waren als Band für drei Nächte in Schefflenz, um neue Songs zu schreiben und das Haus war perfekt für uns. Es ist super gemütlich (Kaminofen bei Minusgraden im Januar ist großartig), gut ausgestattet, sauber und liegt ruhig am Ortsrand. Die Sauna hat unseren Aufenthalt nochmal schöner gemacht. Vor allem aber waren die Vermieter sehr lieb und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns wirklich extrem wohl gefühlt <3

Gemütliches Haus
Wir hatten ein sehr schönes Wochenende. Das Haus ist zwar in die Jahre gekommen, aber trotzdem sehr gemütlich. Der Knaller war der grosse Grillkamin auf der Verander. Die Gastgeber waren sehr hilfsbereit und aufmerksam. Wir (6 Frauen) würden jedenfalls gerne wiederkommen.

Für unseren Familienworkshop war es genau das Richtige: Gemütlich, urig, Holzofen, großer Gemeinschaftsraum, Holzofensauna, ruhige Lage - ideal um Zeit miteinander zu verbringen, reden, kochen, spielen. Wenn wir uns etwas wünschen dürften, wäre es die ein oder andere kleine Reparatur an Herd und Spülmaschine sowie vollständige Spiele. Ansonsten haben uns die zwei Tage gut getan.

Kurzurlaub
Die Hütte ist schön, die Terrasse und der kleine Garten sehr einladend, an die Dusche direkt neben dem Klo muss man sich gewöhnen, bekommt man aber geregelt. Ansonsten sind die Zimmer aber sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und bieten reichlich Platz. Die benachbarten Gänse vermitteln eine angenehme Ruhe :-), ohne Doppeldeutigkeit! Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert..... wenn der Keller mal ausgebaut ist und der Tischkicker einen neuen Mittelstürmer und ein paar neue Griffe bekommt....noch mehr!

Das Highlight war für uns definitiv die Holzofensauna. Auch sonst ist das Holzhaus urig und gemütlich. Bad könnte renoviert werden (Duschen endet schnell in Überschwemmung). Alles in allem hatten wir einen sehr entspannten Aufenthalt.

Sehr gut zum Ausspannen
Wir nutzten zu zweit das gleichermaßen gemütliche wie geräumige Haus als Ausgangspunkt für Radtouren entlang der Tauber (mit ca. 30-60 min Autofahrzeit dorthin), zur Jagst (entlang des Schefflenz-Bachs) und zum Neckar (super S-Bahn-Verbindung nach Mosbach). Auf der erneuerten Holzterrasse (keine losen Planken mehr) frühstückten wir in der Morgensonne, sonnten uns und lasen an Ruhetagen zwischen den Touren. Die Vermieter sind die Gastfreundschaft in Person, ansprechbar bei Problemchen und gleichzeitig bemüht, die Ruhe und Privatsphäre der Mieter nicht zu stören. Das Haus ist schön gelegen und auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt ordentlich ausgestattet.

Ruhiges Holzhaus
Eine Unterkunft die etwas Jahre gekommen ist bzw. mit ein paar Eimern Farbe wieder zu altem Glanz zurückfinden könnte. Das Haus liegt ruhig, die nahe Straße ist kaum zu hören. Auf dem direkt an das Grundstück angrenzenden Nachbargelände werden Enten gehalten, die weniger durch ihr Schnattern gestört haben als durch deutlichen Salmiakgeruch, was, je nach Windrichtung, unangenehm war. Etwas störend waren im Haus auch die große Menge an Hausfliegen, denen auch mit den aufgehängten Fliegenfängern nicht beizukommen war. Moskitonetze über den Betten wären ganz gut, um besser schlafen zu können und nicht von den Fliegen geweckt zu werden. Ansonsten waren die Betten bzw. Matratzen aber gut.
