We were attending an event downtown when this hotel was recommended due to overbooking. Turned out to be perfect. Easy checkin. Fresh coffee. Easy ride share pickup to and from our event at the Scranton Cultural Center. After a restful night we had a good breakfast and headed in our way.

Not Up To Hilton Standard
Have stayed at many Hilton hotels while travelling on business. This Hampton Inn was just ok. Not the cleanest and we just felt it didn’t meet the standard we expect from Hilton. In all fairness to the hotel, it is in the process of being refreshed. Some rooms were closed for renovations.

Overnight - passing through
Quick overnight, passing through. Check-in was friendly and efficient. Room was clean and comfortable. Be mindful to push/pull room door shut; they don't shut all the way on their own. Pool was clean but fitness center was a bit neglected and treadmill and elliptical weren't fully functional. Breakfast was adequate but a bit slow in keeping up with guests.
