Perfect location
There was lots of room for us...parking! There was a great outdoor space. Unfortunately the weather wasn't cooperating all the time. Lots of foot traffic, but a quiet street. Perfect location for site seeing. Several places to walk to, to eat dinner. Easy walk to beach and walk to see the seven sisters.

Family Vacation Haven!
The Lambs Knees is the best holiday home you could ask for when traveling with children. The house has everything you need (and more!) and Laura was incredibly accommodating to all our needs, including an impromptu check-out extension as our 1 year old was taking an exceptionally long nap - a testament to how comfortable her room and cot was! Our visit to the UK has brought us to other hotels, all of which pale in comparison to The Lambs Knees. Thank you so much for the generosity and flexibility, Laura - we (Pippa especially) appreciate everything! Xx The Andrews Family

Seafood Break
Lovely period house, very clean, lots of room and perfectly placed gor walking to the town ( 2 mins) and beach (4-5) mins. Had the added benefit of an off street parking space right next to the house. Laura our host was extremely helpful and responsive before, during and after the booking. She had carefully laid out a wealth of information about where to go, what to see, where to eat - better than any host of any accommodation we have stayed at previously. I would highly recommend this accommodation!

Stunning Victorian home you'll want to come back to again and again!
Laura and Ian are absolutely wonderful and very dilligent hosts and could not do enough to truly welcome us making sure that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Excellent communication too! There are so many helpful baby/child items in the house too it really does take the stress out of having to bring them yourself. Plus the playroom is the loveliest we've experienced - neatly stocked full of toys and books for every age. :) It allowed us to have child visitors who could play together in a safe and happy environment. It is all child gated. The home itself is simply beautiful with lots of fabulous Victorian features while still being chic and modern, spacious and very warm and cosy. No Victorian drafts here! This was our first family trip to Seaford and, despite the rain, we shall never forget what a wonderful time we had there and will certainly be coming back again one day. Ideal location too so you can potter about in the town or head to the promenade...just a few minutes walk away. Thank you Laura and Ian for making our New Year so very welcoming and special (and keeping that lovely Christmas tree up!) The welcome pack full of delicious treats was very welcome too. :)

Lovely house in a perfect location
We spent a week here with 5 adults and one child in April. The house was as impressive as in the photos. Although it is right off the High Street there was no noise and the street is one-way, so not much traffic. You can walk to everything. The train is a short walk which gets you into Brighton in minutes. The beach is also just a few minutes away with great sunsets and the Seven Sisters as a backdrop. The house is well appointed and spotless. We felt immediately at home. The owner is great, she provided lots of information and went out of her way to be helpful. We could not recommend this place more highly.

Fantastic accommodation!
We booked our holiday based on finding this property to stay in and we were not disappointed! The house was lovely, clean and very well equipped. We had a three year old and one year old with us and their rooms/beds had been set up so thoughtfully and they absolutely loved the playroom! Communication from the owner Laura was great from the moment we booked and it was so helpful to receive full information about the house and local area in advance of our visit so that we could make plans. The house is in a great location to access Seaford and the beach; plus lots to do locally - had some great days out with the kids. Thank you Laura!

Town house - best of both worlds
This is a spacious, comfortable, and well appointed Edwardian/Victorian semi-detached with high ceilings and steep staircases. Lots of extras are provided for arrival and the owners pay attention to needs quickly. The location near the little town and the beach a few minutes walk away gives the best of both worlds - shopping door to door done in 10 minutes, beach in about 8. Cliff walk is spectacular too, with drives nearby to Cuckmere meandering river for kayaking etc, and other beaches.

Beautiful warm welcoming house, very well equipped, friendly & helpful owner
Lamb’s Knees is a beautiful, comfortable, warm and very well equipped house. Off road parking for 1 car, hairdryer, coffee machine, microwave, playroom, all towels, shampoo/conditioner. Even bread, milk, wine, treats, tea/coffee/sugar left for us, so many little touches that make such a difference to your stay. Food shops & lovely cafe ‘The grumpy chef’ just around the corner from the house was great. Train to Brighton runs regularly, makes it so easy to visit Brighton. Laura even arranged a fab babysitter (my daughter thoroughly enjoyed her company!) for us so we could go to a gig in Brighton. Thank-you so much Laura & Frances!

great family holiday
Laura gave us a lovely welcome into the holiday home and made us very welcome . The house had everything we needed and more, and was very clean and tidy. It was a great location for us with a wide age range of folk staying, so was great for my father in his 80's being able to get into town and walk along the seafront. It was a good place for the younger ones (20's) with the cafes and pubs at walking distance. We had a great week catching up with family and exploring old places again. Prawning at Birling Gap, Swimming at Tide Mills, Walking to Hope Gap, a visit to Charleston house,(book tickets) as tour was very good. Ending with a fish and chip supper from the 'Trawlers'. Once again a big thankyou to Laura and Ian for making it so easy to stay in their homely holiday let.

Outstanding service; a real delight. Highly recommend.
Incredibly thoughtfully prepared by the owners taking into account our children's ages which the owners had checked in advance. The house really has almost anything you could need including an amazing playroom for kids, was very comfortable and in a great location only minutes from the beach and all amenities. Plenty of information provided by the owners about local shops, restaurant recommendations etc. The local area has lots to offer and we were also provided with really useful guides to walks, local tourist attractions etc. Highly recommend.

Amazing, 5* beautiful house with every added touch you can imagine!
We visited this half term with our three children aged 7, 3 and 1. If you have children and would like to actually relax on holiday then this is the place! There's stairs gates on every stair (top⊥) which saved us having to constantly follow our adventurous 1 year old. There's plastic cutley and sippy cups and every thing you could possibly need for a newborn up to toddler! The cot was beautiful! Makes a nice change from the normal travel cots you normally get when you travel. Nice soft mattress and gorgeous blanket to keep them cosy. The carpet in the bedroom was just as soft as the bed! Was a real treat! To top it off the playroom! WOW every kids dream! Our kids have never been so occupied for so long! The selection of toys was so vast I can't think of much that wasn't in there! The children are still talking about it now we are home :) The garden is a lovely place to enjoy a cup of tea in the morning. You can hear the sea! So peaceful! The house was spotlessly clean! It's close to the shops which is handy. We will be going back again in the summer for another stress free, comfy break. :) Thank you Laura for being so friendly and understanding when we arrived so late and all the extras. You made us feel welcome and at home :)

Geweldige vakantie gehad
Geweldige week vakantie gehad in Lamb's Knees. Wij komen zeker terug!
