Our house is very spacious and sleeps 8 people in four bedrooms .

We have just re opened after being closed for a while for family bereavement and are now once again ready to welcome new and returning guests for 2024

We now sleep 8 in four bedrooms and don’t offer out the pull out sofa bed any longer to keep things simple but we don’t mind if you wish to bring ready beds for up to two more guests .

PLEASE NOTE THAT OUR RENTALS RUN FRIDAY TO FRIDAY AND SHORT BREAKS ARE FROM MONDAY TO FRIDAY ( Or MON /THURS for three nights ) OR FRIDAY TO MONDAY UNLESS ARRANGED LAST MIN

Lovely villa vibe , spacious ,one level , light and airy throughout .

The sunny back garden is a wonderful private and peaceful retreat to unwind and soak in the hot tub .

The kitchen Includes a stainless steel range-master induction cooker , solid oak work surfaces and affords views over green fields where sheep graze right up to the fence .

The perfect place to prepare family feasts with locally sourced fresh ingredients that can be be found on your doorstep .

There’s the famous ‘ swallow fish ‘ in seahouses or another Rick Stein favourite ‘ Carter’s ‘ butchers in Bamburgh , Fresh vegetables are in abundance at the local independent food shop in the village .

There’s a local co-op or Sainsbury’s and most supermarkets deliver to the house .

Come and enjoy connecting back with your true nature ,
Take a short stroll from the house down through the sandy dunes to the quiet ,sandy beach and enjoy the view of the farne islands and Longstone lighthouse,

Re awaken your inner child once again with the simple pleasure of exploring the rockpools when the tide is out.

I love to spend hours collecting beach glass ‘treasure ‘ and other quirky finds for my projects and it always fills me with wonder of the people they once belonged to

If you're lucky you may spot the pod of playful dolphins that have been playing in these waters for the last few years or so or catch the light show from the aurora borealis that is also sometimes seen from here .. there’s an aurora watch app that can alert you of the best times

To spoil yourself , what better than to indulge your senses and soothe those aching joints enjoying a dip in the hot tub whilst admiring the local wildlife as you soak away all the worries that keep you stuck

Whatever day time adventures you choose you will love cosying up on the sofas in front of our wood burning stove after all that fresh seaside air and enjoying some precious time engaging with loved ones , something we realise is precious after the last few years

Teenagers or grandparents may want some space in their own room in the annexe ( all part of the house but with a private aspect )

The house is accessible for all , wheelchair users included as we as a family understand deeply the need for real inclusion and connection as a whole family unit .

Sadly our beautiful daughter left this earthly realm this year but she and other amazing warriors like her loved this place entirely as they could be exactly who they are without compromise .

The Wet room with disabled loo and specialist beds ensure that complex care needs can be met without for all to enjoy (but please do not plug beds in if you don’t need them and ensure children are not allowed to for their own safety )

We’ve removed the cot sides now so please keep this in mind if you need to bring some .

**.whilst we have tried to provide for most people , we cannot provide everything for everyone ... but if you need to bring a special shower chair etc please bring one

our beds are only to
be plugged in at your own risk as we cannot be responsible for injury caused by others or any unsupervised others using it .

If you need to bring ready beds for up to two more guests then that’s ok with us as long as we know beforehand and we allow up to two well behaved adult dogs by prior request. .

PLEASE TAKE NOTE THAT WE ARE ADJOINED TO A FIELD OFTEN WITH LIVESTOCK AND OUR FENCES ARE AROUND 4FT HIGH

so please ensure you NEVER let dogs out without watching them at all times in the garden .

Please note that the hot tub may not be up to maximum temp on the first evening as it is emptied / sanitised and refilled for every set of guests to comply with health and safety laws .

The beach house is the perfect place in all seasons to get back to nature and re-charge those batteries. .

All ingredients provided for precious time and memories to take home and treasure. Just add family and friends!
