Our Guests have their own space in a quiet area, a private garden with open views over the surrounding countryside and to observe the local wildlife. Our cottage has been fitted out as a comfortable home from home. Due to little light pollution, on clear nights you can see and identify the stars and the planets from the garden.
Seaton is centrally located for exploring the Jurassic South Devon/Dorset coast, the Seaton wetlands, the tramway and the 2000 year old quarry and caves at Beer. From the promenade you see three periods of rock formations. Cretaceous, Triassic and Jurassic, There are plenty of activities for children, Theme and wildlife parks, a donkey Sanctuary, and beautiful gardens to visit. The old Roman city of Exeter is 45 minutes drive and is well worth a visit with it's Roman walls, tunnels, the river Exe and a magnificent Cathedral. The Norman Lockyer observatory from where he discovered, and named, Helium in the sun. We could go on and on, but why not come and see for yourself. Oh! I forgot to mention the beaches and...
