There was construction being done in front of the hotel making the sidewalk dangerous and difficult to unload our luggage. I recommend avoiding a stay here until construction concludes

The staff was lovely and we had an upgrade. There was construction going on around the entry which made unloading challenging but doable. Parking garage is additional fee and about 1.5 blocks away. Rooms are historic, clean, quiet and breakfast was fine. Location is very good and a quick walk to the waterfront and Pike Market. I would stay there again.

It didn’t look all that great in the picture and they are tearing up the sidewalk out front. But the did a really great job inside restoring an old historic hotel. I was just in awe.

I liked the old fashioned wood details and the furnishings and that the rooms etc. were upgraded enough to be very comfortable. The pioneer square area has much to offer. The area is undergoing construction which makes it seem dirtier than it is
