This hotel's location is perfect for walking and/or taking public transit to the main attractions in Seatle. Checking in was very easy, and they hold luggage if you get there before check in time which was very convenient. However, for the price paid, the room was very small, bed was tilted, the duvet-sheet too small, and on 7th floor the noise from air conditioning unit was bothersome. It was difficult to get clean towels as we did not know we had to request them a day prior on their room iPad, they were delivered to us after asking twice. The technology for TV, lights, and curtains which is managed on the room iPad is nice, but it takes some learning to operate them and they seem to have a delay when changes are made.

This hotel was cool! Very interesting how things are mostly automated. I thought the lights in the room and the iPad control was really unique and cute. The rooms are fairly minimalist but they're intelligently built so you don't really miss the extra space. The breakfast is $19 a person if you pay per day. Seemed like a great place to study or do some work, lots of office areas and quiet lounges. Located very close to Whole Foods, Sephora, and walkable to all the sights in Seattle. I'd stay here again- definitely recommend for someone with eclectic taste who likes techy vibes.

With everything in the room controlled with an ipad, I would expect that I can talk to the staff or request toiletries through it but unfortunately I was told to call or go to the front desk. There is also limited amenities in the room, no coffee or water, and would have to go downstairs to get some. The room was just the right size for two people. It was weird to have the sink outside of the bathroom and it also made the room feel cramped. The staff are really friendly and helpful. I was able to store my luggage at the front desk for a few hours after check out. For the price, I expected more amenities from this four star hotel.

The staff at the CitizenM are fantastic, they were all polite, courteous and respectful. We were given great suggestions on places to visit in the area, the suggestions were spot on, we had a great time. I would definitely recommend the CitizenM it modern and sleek and cool. One thing I wasn’t up for was the unisex restrooms, I don’t like walking out of a restroom stall into a big strange man.
