Staff was great, property seems to be a nice place in decline. Rooms show signs of haphazard attempts at upkeep. Air conditioners were so loud we had to switch rooms and second room was loud, but it did not oscillate, so it was tolerable. Rooms were spacious with nice furniture. Beds were comfortable. Room service was very late. Wee were out from 8-3 and when we got back to the room, maid service came by, but we were in for a bit at that time. Gym was ok, but one TV didn’t work and it was small. Our room smelled…musty? There was a strange smell, I think liked to the old AC units, but I’m not sure. Overall, decent place for a low level price, i.e., no more than $150ish a night. Above that, you’re paying for location or last second convenience. If you have time to plan your trip, only book here at a discount until they do a serious renovation and not just spackle and some paint without doing real work.

We stayed in a dual queen and the matresses were tired. Our neighbor was yelling about something for awhile so we had to call the front desk. The fire alarm went off one evening and we had to evacuate the building for about 30 minutes. Hot breakfast was mediocre for our 3 mornings...scrambled eggs/potatoes/sausage links, then hard-boiled eggs/potatoes/sausage links (I ate waffles instead of eggs), and finally egg patty/potatoes/sausage patty.
