Issues with Shower, Wifi :/
Everything about the vibe of Palihotel is excellent. The customer service is also top notch. Should have been a great hotel experience, but for two things. One, was that the shower regularly cut off because the city water supply is insufficient when the hotel is relatively full. So expect to be standing in the shower for ten or fifteen minutes waiting to rinse the shampoo out of your hair. Second, the wifi was miserable. Barely could handle email. So between those two things, I would have preferred to stay somewhere else.

We would stay here again.
The staff was so accommodating. They kept our luggage because we arrived early and they gave us a quiet room as we requested. The room was larger than most we have stayed in lately and was clean and comfortable. We loved having the Nespresso machine in our room and nice cups/saucers. We like that the room decor is not typical of most hotels. We like the large gathering area where one can easily be alone or with friends. We had breakfast at the restaurant and it was so good! I haven’t had a better biscuit!!! The only negative are the homeless on the streets near the hotel in the evening but there is nothing the hotel can do about that. Otherwise, the location was perfect for us because we rode buses while there and the light rail to the airport.

The property sounded wonderful in the description and LOOKED nice, but it was lacking substance and details that were mentioned and it felt much more like a hostel than a hotel in that it had all the appearances of a hotel, but the service of a hostel where customers are just supposed to figure it out or be okay with the absolute bare minimum because the location is convenient and the price is lower than nearby options. First of all, you will be parking several blocks away and paying nearly $40 for parking and hope that you are comfortable pulling your luggage around downtown. Then, your room will be hot and the AC will never properly come on - despite being told it can take up to 10 minutes, so you’ll just likely open the windows to get some fresh air because it’s dusty and musty due to the age of the building (air filters are not a thing that seems to be here, so beware if you have allergies or respiratory issues, you may wake up unable to breathe and have a headache while you try and enjoy Pikes Place) Next, if you were excited to wear a bathrobe and be cozy after a long hot shower after a long work day - too bad? You won’t have robes, just a sign mentioning them, but no robes to be found. Want an ice bucket to cool down your drinks from quenching your thirst from walking from the expensive parking garage? Too bad! That won’t be in your room either. Want to put your leftovers in the mini fridge? Too bad, it will be stocked with items that don’t have a price list.

Palihotel Seattle
We loved the location of the hotel, the room was very clean and comfortable. Water was hot and plentiful. For us the major drawback was that even though we had a room away from the street the alley was extremely noisy with trash pickup and some unhoused or derelict people shouting and banging around

The hotel was nice looking and clean, but it was really noisy. We were awakened all through the night with sirens, garbage pickup and shouting. Our room was above an extremely noisy alleyway. It was really close to Pike Place Market but many of the shops didn’t open until 10:00 and closed by 5:00.

We stayed here for 1 night before a cruise and this was the perfect place. The location was the best for the price in high season. We walked to Pikes public market, Seattle great wheel and the pier. We ate dinner at the restaurant in the hotel and it was fantastic! We didn’t want to deal with waits at other restaurants so we decided to use the free drink the hotel provided us and had a great dinner. We loved the small decorated hotel room we had, it was just what we needed to sleep and get ready for the cruise. In the morning we went across the street for coffee and to the market and it was so nice to just walk there. It was easy to get an Uber to the port and the hotel held our bags until we were ready to leave. I would stay here again when back in Seattle.
